 Recently seen a post in which OP stated that he got an offer from Nykaa and MMT. He has 6 yrs of experience and CTC they were offering was 45+6. 
  
 Nowadays freshers getting CTC of 50 LPA are getting only 1L-1.5L in hand. It's true that MERN has saturated and it's also true that we don't have many highly expert and specialised MERN Devs. For e.g. how many MERN devs have you seen with og experience in optimizing backend, implementing scalable microservices/communications/microservices handling large bandwidths, highly responsive, optimized and complex frontends etc 
  
 So, yeah! If u have expertise to do build something that many others can't do, then u don't need to worry about anything:)

Isn't Mern stack jobs too saturated right now ? , I mean every student is starting with mern now a days and I can't see alot of jobs with mern too they are either asking other databases or other backends like Django . I'm really shocked when he told 50 lpa for mern I didn't believe it

Hi guys, I am currently working in a SAAS startup as a backend Engineer. Tech stack: MERN, AWS, little bit of GenAI now.

I know most big companies use Java springboot for their backend, so I'm thinking to learn it is I want to switch later. Or should I go for golang as it's becoming very hot in recent times. Or should I continue with NodeJS? Let me know your suggestion.

I have worked on little front end development as well.

Java springboot or Golang for Node devs

The camp in my opinion is not what it claims to be. People who are doing well in the camp are the ones who took matters in their own hand and started learning on their own.

Pros:

1. Practice sets were given often(There were 27 practice sets of all topics) which helped us form the practice for writing code for hooks without wasting time in thinking about the approach.

2. Community is good. MA’s are very helpful and will guide you in every situation. Taking the time out of their busy schedule. Very thankful to them.

3. Machine coding rounds were conducted. Which helped us speed up the process. 

4. Revision sessions were conducted for people who couldn’t understand the lecture taken by Tanay. These sessions were taken by Akanksha.

Cons:

1. Redux was removed from course even though it is mentioned on the website. They say that redux is not important but it is, companies ideally want their candidates to know redux.

2. Tanay simply skims through a topic, does not go in depth inside any topic. An advice which he ironically gives in his youtube videos. He ignores any advanced questions asked in the session claiming he has not covered yet. Says he will teach later and does not cover that topic later.

3. We were forbidden to discuss anything that isn’t taught yet.Stopping the flow of knowledge. That means you can’t even use the community to discuss something new because they haven’t taught it yet.

4. MA’s(Ex-neoGrads) were discouraged from answering questions about topics that weren’t taught yet. They used to host sessions on hard topics that people didn’t understand in voice chats but were discouraged to do so.

5. Didn’t even cover the dependency array in useEffect hook. He just said you will keep it empty 90% of the time. useMemo and useCallback were not even mentioned. Forget about code optimizations. Honestly, you will learn more in a 30min youtube video than in their class.

Reality of neoG bootcamp

I joined Neog hoping to learn Advanced Full stack but LOL this whole bootcamp is a scam. They are only focussed on earning money. A simple 500rs Udemy course will teach you more than this Channa mereya drama. There has been 0 percent addition in my knowledge after joining NEOG because I already know basics I wanted to learn Advanced things. 
  
 1) No Lectures on memo and callback 
 2) No Redux 
 3) DSA lol (mentioned on the website) 
 4) Backend LMAO ( mentioned on the websit) 
 5) Industry Standard Coding - why is it even mentioned on the website. 
  
  
 I have no problem with Neog Do whatever you want. But please don't lie about your course. Just Mention it on your website that you will only teach basics. I regret that hard-earned money of my parents is wasted.

I have freelanced on upwork earlier and maximum reached $20/hour in development gigs but got burned out by constant pressure of rebidding once the current project gets over. The profile is still 5 star rated but getting full time job through these freelancing platform require lots of marketing and bidding and it’s difficult with day job. However recently I have seem trend where there are some genuine folks such as harkirat who are upping the game by earning around 5 crore annually through posh remote jobs. Has anyone of you tried pursuing that route by reaching out to founders of early stage startups on twitter/linked in or used freelancing portals such as upwork to get full time gigs which pays more than $100k remotely. If yes please share some guidance.

I am working in a service based for a multinational brand.
However i am not satisfied with the job, learnings and salary..
I am having 2 yoe on a cms called Drupal. My work mostly revolves around site building which requires no coding at all. Its very basic. But I want to get into high paying jobs I am learning DSA but i am worried that what i have been working on for 2 years might not be taken into account as actual experience. 
I am worried that big companies might reject my profile because of this lack of real world coding experience. 
I am really confused what to do. My manager is pushing to get a certification in Drupal and get hands on experience on coding in drupal (php, jquery, twig). I don't think drupal has scope when compared to mern. I don't see a lot of jobs for drupal when i search in linkedin or naukri. What's your take on this ?
The problem here is i am really confused whether to continue learning MERN (i have been learning and have a decent idea) as mern looks like best bet to me to apply for big tech companies.

So I have completed my B.tech. Now I have to look for Jobs. During the time I was in college(last year), I was Learning MERN stack but it has not been completed yet. Now in online forums, I have heard that MERN stack is getting saturated, and entering it is not good. So what is your opinion? Also is it wise to take some time, I mean like some months (6 or 8 months) to self-learn and land a Job after that? And should I learn on my own or go to some training institute? Can anyone Help me, I need guidance.

MERN Vs Java full stack

Hi everyone, I am working in a service based giant of India for the past 2.4 years on Ruby on Rails. Ruby is a dying language & I need to switch as my salary is lower than what peons probably earns so need some guidance.
1. I am wanting to switch to Frontend completely and then some backend in a new company in MERN stack, what salary can I expect for my YoE ?
2. With all layoffs going, how can i make myself somewhat immune to these situations so that I don't have to search for a new job every few months ?

Hi all. I need your advice.
I passed out in 2023 and joined Capgemini as a software engineer.  I have been tagged to the Guidewire project but I am not getting interested in that domain because the main problem is that the Guidewire developer demand is only in service based companies and few product based only. Apart from those few companies, no one even knows what Guidewire is. I don't want to work in Guidewire. Everyday feels like I am wasting my time. I don't want to learn guidewire and waste my time. My manager has now even started scolding that I can't even fix one jira or issue alone, I know nothing about guidewire and to be honest I don't even want to learn it Whenever I get free time I have started learning mern stack development. But this will take a lot of time to do it properly and then switch to another company.

Now what should I do? Stay in Capgemini only till I get prepared in 1-2 years completely or leave the job and focus on learning mern.

Please suggest!!!! Not happy in the current organization because of the domain which is allotted. Should I leave the company or stay there
