I recently interviewed at an MNC and my interviews went great. They also gave a case study.
At the time of final negotiation for salary, i asked for standard 40-45% hike. However they took some time and came back with an offer of almost 95%-100% and literally more than that if i include yearly fixed bonus component.

This was a big surprise to me, and they states that we have done this taking care of pay parity, etc.

I am very happy, 
However, i want to know is this common or happened with anyone else?
Are there such good companies, people and HRs...

Anyone having any thoughts on this?

Has this happened with anyone where you are offered more salary than what you asked for?

Role - Manager 

Joining bonus - 2L 
Committed bonus - 4L 
Current CTC -31LPA (Fixed) 
EY CTC - 31LPA (no variable pay) - they want me to join on almost the same CTC. 
ONLY BENEFIT - Medical and Gratuity outside 31LPA.

Should I join or wait for other offers?

NOTE - I have no other offers in hand.

Story here:
I left earlier previous company due to I want to gain more experience in new technology and get some hands in development. During that period also they tried to retain but more than package I concentrated to gain more hands in Development. Now once again I'm not happy with my current company which is accenture, as so much politics, upon being so much dedication didn't receive any hike or promotion since 2.5 years , so I'm getting again opportunity to work in my previous company.
