Hello! I am an entrepreneur who has 4+ years of relevant experience as a business analyst and of Product Manager. I am looking for a PM opportunity, as I could not scale my venture.

My experience was majorly focused in the growth domain with e-commerce and SaaS projects. I have completed a couple of PM courses to brush up my knowledge.

I have applied for 200+ companies in the past month, but did not hear back from anyone.

Kindly share any advice so I can upskill myself more effectively. 
Also please share some insights on how I can get referrals from my network.

Hey there everyone, 

I hope you all are having a wonderful day.

I'll get straight to the point, I've been applying for jobs for last 3 months and i haven't got a single call back or interview calls from anywhere, I've applied to 100 of companies, from entry level job to mid senior level job, I've tried every job portal, I've tried getting referrals, hell I've sent 500+ cold emails, I've also tried tailoring my resume for the role.

Now a little bit about myself:


I'm currently working as a product analyst and have 3 YOE. I did my b.tech from tier 1 college and graduated in 2021.
Right after graduation i got a job with a decent package.

So considering my profile and YOE, it shouldn't be this hard tp get a job or even a call back!!

Can anyone tell me what am i doing wrong?, or anyone care to give any tips.

Ps: why the hell are companies asking for 5-6 YOE for an analyst profile??!!!

Seeing a lot of people asking how the market for PM's is, and what they should do rn, so going to add my 2 cents from recent experience.

My ex-company (I left last week) was hiring for PM's whom I was personally profile-screening & conducting interviews for. This happened first 4 months back, and then again 2 weeks back (for my replacement).

The quality of candidates between then and now is dramatically different - there are way better PM candidates applying for the same roles & looking for a switch now, for various reasons.

There is a lot more supply than demand, and that's going to make competition quite cut-throat and difficult to convert opportunities. It's less about the job market and more about the bigger & better candidate pool.

My advice - Stick to roles that are within your current space/niche where you have a proven track record. Apply diligently & try to leverage your connections. Don't try to throw everything at the wall & see what sticks - it's likely that nothing will.

Hello! I currently was laid off and I am on a lookout for a PM role. I have ~7.5 years of experience working in tech with 4.5 Years as a Product Manager. 

I have been trying to apply through these portals but I almost see no new jobs!

Hardly getting any calls for PM roles. Is the market really cold? Or AI rejections are taking over potential interview callbacks?? I see a 10/10 match with my profile for a JD but eventually get rejection mail even for screening/shortlisting, I suspect AI rejection is taking over.
