Is learning mainframe technologies good or shall I stick to DSA?
As a college student I currently have 2 options. Whether to learn mainframe technologies as a part of the subject very wisely so I can apply in companies like BMC and IBM or shall I stick with DSA practicing. Enlighten me in areas of scope, advancement and salary.
Mainframe! Are you kidding me, never even go anywhere close to mainframe, most boring tech. There are tens of much more interesting technology out there to learn
Even if you learn mainframes in corporate mostly you will edit old programs that were written before you were born or some jobs to get extracs backups or migration so no use at all
My advice is to stick with DSA. Get out of mainframe immediately!
Bro/sis please don't learn mainframes and it's waste of time and you don't develop the code from scratch just stick to dsa

Bro IMB mostly runs and works on the mainframe. And still you are endorsing not to learn it. Please elaborate on the reason for this...
