It’s a genuine news but why it sounds like a meme

Is this just me or others also think that nowadays all news on startups and companies are coming from grapeviner’s post? Good old journalism is dead and most startup’s journalist are using grapevine posts to write scoops on startups. Sometime without checking and citing anonymous sources. As soon as a new grapevine get posted, within hours it is all over the news. Dear Journalist friends, if nothing atleast give some credit to grapevine in your stories 😉

Share the funny incidents you have experienced with daily standup meetings or meetings in general in the comments. I will share my experience. In one of my previous organisations, there was a person who used to sometimes give very absurd updates like "Was not feeling too well so skipped breakfast and started working early on this ticket" or used to describe the entire day including non-work related things in a chronological manner instead of the usual format of the daily standups. I know it may not sound too funny as I can't recall specific incidents right now but it was way more funny really.

Where is it heading to, seriously? Is this the work of AI or human?
