Job opening/Hiring invites from VP/CxOs

I can see a lot of getting placed, starting new positions posts on LinkedIn. Aprt from the obvious jpmc appraisals, is hiring starting to get normla? Also the orgs which did layoffs is hiring? And by hiring here I mean people actually starting there day1. I cant wrap my head around. Whats happening?

Is it just me or roles for HR folks in the 0-3 years bracket have completely vanished? All openings I come across nowadays are 4+ YoE. And before one of you says “khud HR ho, khud ko hire karlo” 🫠 - wish it worked like that 🥲 P.S. If you know of any HR roles in your org, let me know, thanks!

I have seen lot of posts about openings lately, are companies back to hiring now or what exactly is the market going on ? People who have recently applied can share their experiences on the market, compensation hike and ghosting by HRs if it is still happening

Hello Fine Viners- it's been 2 months now that I am actively looking for a job change. Have faced instances where the HR calls me regarding the scheduling of the interview, but vo hota hi nahi hai! Even if the interview is scheduled, I don't get an update post that call. I have rejected 2 offers (there are solid reasons to do so) and have been rejected from 2 :( LinkedIn and IIMjobs are on a constant battle on who will give me the most rejection emails or updates. Anyways, I am getting a bit worried lately and wanted to know from ya'll, IS HIRING EVEN HAPPENING!? In case your answer to the above question is YES, then please mention your company name and mode of working (wfh, wfo or hybrid). Referral are also welcomed. I cleared all 6 rounds of a PM interview with an Edtech startup. The HR asked for current offer letter, 2 references (current and previous manager), and a couple of other docs. Then ghosted me for 2 weeks. When I followed up, the HR said they are in-process of interviewing other candidates Is it normal to do this now a days? I understand the company wants to interview more people. But then why ask for any details from me till you are sure that you are going to give an offer

Been seeing lot of happy posters on gv recently, though I guess it’s the buzz in tech job market

Had a chat with a legendary soonicorn founder yesterday evening and his take was that we are definitely not getting another bull run this decade. I obviously think more optimistically and hopefully things will look up soon. What do you all think about this tho?

I have seen multiple companies posting vacancy on LinkedIn and Naukri but I see no post of any candidate getting hired or sharing onboarding. Are they posting this to avoid panic in open market ? Especially in the field of Data. Thoughts ?
