But since int requires less bytes then float can't that go and get stored in float ?

Been working for 6 months at a startup. Worked with react and react native. Made an app in react from scratch for internal use. Added many features to the other two existing user apps. I've also made personal projects with nodejs. My company will soon start giving me backend work on nodejs. I work 6 days a week. 

Currently getting paid 6 LPA inhand
How much can I ask for after 6 months?

When the IPO for the retail category is over-subscribe let's say by 2x time, everyone seems to say that the probability of allocation is 1:2 i.e 50%, but is that the correct way of calculating probability?

Different retail investors apply for different numbers of lots, maximum allottees = (shares offered / total shares in 1 lot), it is possible that number of applicants are less than maximum allottees if maximum applicants are applying for more than 1 lot, in such cases if IPO is 2x times subscribed by total applicants less than max allottees then everyone is 100% going to get at least 1 lot, so probability becomes 100% and not 50%. 

Is this calculation correct? What i'm missing or misunderstood? 

I have watched many videos and read many articles but i'm still not clear on how probability calculation should be done correctly.

I'm in tier 2 engineering college just completed my first year and just learnt C not 100% but tried to know the basics
I'm confused to choose a path in coding
What should i start learning how to learn these languages im so confused rn each and everyone is saying something different one is saying go for c++ then dsa someone is saying go for WEB dev
I wanna learn something that'll help me in college as well as make me earn that much that i can fulfill my basic needs in college
And lastly how to be motivated always to grind and learn as well as code cause i always lose motivation after few days because of fear that i don't know anything and I'm just a average student
I'm scared that my college years will be waste if i didn't learn anything beforehand 
Please someone guide me the roadmap how and what to do

Later realized that the library syntax has evolved between when ChatGPT 3.5 was trained versus 2024. I think my boss would have fired me if he knew that a simple syntax change was the reason for delay in release.

One of my good friends had applied to a 1YoE+ opening in a well known big MNC. He was contacted by the recruiter about this opportunity. First round was screening on HackerRank. He said the questions were easy, like the smoothest cake walk anyone can have. But he faced a lot of issues with the online IDE that the platform provides and he could not complete the test in time and hence got rejected.

I too had applied for the same opening right after him. I did not face many issues in my test, but there were issues which irritated me. After giving the HackerRank test, I casually pinged him and while talking about it, I got to know that we both had got the same set of questions asked. And the fun fact was, though our approaches were a bit different(like very minor), the output obtained was the same. But weirdly, despite getting the same outputs, all my test cases passed while his had failed. How is that possible, is something both of us are wondering about RN.

I suggested him to reapply by creating a completely new profile and everything because, he's a far better developer than me who deserves this opportunity, and it's sad to see him loose such a good opportunity to work at one of the dream teams.

But he said he can't take that path I recommended because he would feel guilty about it, knowing that he already knows the test questions and would easily clear that, which feels like cheating.

I'm asking amazing people here what he should do ? Do what I said OR just let go of it assuming it was his fate ?

We have been actively applying to many openings but because we don't have more than a YoE, we have barely got opportunities coming our way. So, I suggested to him "desperate times call for desperate measures".

I’ve noticed a pattern that most folks at leadership have a masters degree at least (mostly mba). Im at that point where leaving my job (20LPA, 5YOE) for 2 years does not make sense and getting into ISBs would demand a strong Gmat score which looks difficult.
Should I take a MS or some other masters degree for the sake of it? Just so that I might be in contention for senior roles years later?

If not MBA, then what?
