You don't find children playing in the streets, Digital masturbation and never ending Google sheets, Offices are becoming more air conditioned, and lot's of I-macs and I-phones, Everything is getting touch screen while we start loosing our touch with knowns,

The black and white TV, broken pencils of school, that lost eraser, making friends April fool, The silence of the past had more chatter of neighbours, The silence of today is honking& groaning cars,

This life is busy and buzzy, This life is too uneasy, Driven by managers and anxiety, More introverted society,

But hey... Let's own for a change, let's make another neighbour friend, Let there be friends talking, while phone charging, Let there be a call to mom back in town, More street cricket and bad Minton, Another dice of Ludo and flicking carrom, Let us wake up early Let us eat timely

Let us sit together sometime, Sit together and speak the burden in our hearts, Alone in my Room I recite this rhyme Someday let's go back to the start....

I am wfh due to extended diwali vacation. My 2 cent from a rural place in India which has preserved its individuality till now.

Children's play under sun 🌞 and have group of 10 kids. They ain't worried about anything. Their happiness index > ceos.

They don't know about masturbation till 10th or age 14 if they don't have a smartphone.

My workplace is open and aqi is below 10. Strong peepal and banyan trees 🌴 even 100y old. When I feel stressed due to any reason I just go to see sunset near my place hardly 2km away. It's a stress buster with earbuds in and watching migrant birds crossing river.

Ain't those birds more free and independent than us? Like they don't give a damn 🕊️ about future and enjoy the present.

Very less car and almost 0 traffic ⛔. People still use bicycles and cycle repair shop>garages.

Life is slow and peaceful. People go to sleep at 9-10pm and wake up at 5-6am.

Life is too easy. Cost of a family with 2acre land is hardly 25k/m here.

Sometimes I wonder why chase 2 lac/month sacrificing so much in a so called developed city.

Society is ambivert. Pizza 🍕 🍔 burger biryani is trying to enter these areas.

But I don't miss swiggy.

My 💳 credit card is lying there thinking why am not swiping it...

हुम रोज़ एक अर्धनिर्मित शय्या पर लेटे हुए एक अर्धनिर्मित सा सपना देखते हैं, उस सपने में हम अपनी अर्धनिर्मित आकांक्षाओं को आसमानों में फेंकते हैं।
