We've got an exciting journey ahead, and we're at a crossroads. Our AI startup is all set to take off, but we're fighting with an important question: should we seek funding for our startup ?

Here's the scoop: Our team is hard at work on a game-changing problem-solving service platform. Right now, we've got the skills to create the entire product, but most of us are Python enthusiasts, and we could use some extra hands with diverse talents to take our venture to the next level, which do require funding.

The story behind our decision to dive into the startup world is the success of our previous project. It gained some impressive traction, fueling our desire to turn it into a startup. But there's a hurdle on the horizon - funding. And also the investment landscape is in a bit of a winter chill right now. And we don't know much about the process of funding 😕.

Acquiring funding for a startup in india has become a hassle. I myself have been doing research on seed funding Vc's and angel investors. All they ask is pitch deck and LinkedIn profile. Which they don't even go through and just reply with an email saying we are not eligible for funding. On the other side US and other countries are getting funding at the ideation stage. I guess we can't even go for crowdfunding. Started building MVP, but halfway through the hurdle and unable to resume the development due to limited resources.

I'm thrilled to share our latest developments in our startup:
 We launched our prototype and it's gaining momentum! Our previous product, currently in stealth mode, has remarkable insights. 
However, the GPU usage costs have skyrocketed.

 Our new goal? To build an AI platform that serves as a cost-effective hub for training AI models. No one's tackling this issue, so we are the first ones to solve this issue. We already have some ties with the microchip manufacturer.

 Here's the thing: While we've been self-funded until now, we're now exploring seed funding. But there's a catch – we're cautious about accelerators and VCs. I have seen them undervalue my mate's company and prioritize quick revenue over steady growth.

So how should we go about it ?

This post is for my close friend. 

He is a Senior IOS Developer with over 7 Years of work-ex in SWIFT, CoCoa and Objective C.
Current CTC - 23

His company has announced mass layoffs throughout the organization. He cannot sit idle as he has multiple financial responsibilities and people dependant on him.

He has given 2 interviews now for Microsoft, Walmart, but not selected in 2/3 Rd rounds.
Not getting calls now even after applying and connecting with HR and referrals in MNC's also. (Probably because of the current market conditions)

Need advice on what we should do next as time is running out as well as patience.

Hi, I'm the founder of a startup called Chalk. It is a community based startup for students. We're building a professional networking platform for University students and focusing on facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration on academic projects as well as student startups, to help them build an efficient team and come out with better industry standard results. 

Currently, it is two of us building everything from the website to handling social media and even coding a POC version of the product on discord (I'm learning how to code just for this) , and both of us are from a non tech background, which is why we're looking for a tech co-founder to help us build the product and bring it to life.
