Need genuine advice

I'm a product designer with 1+ year of experience currently working in a pre seed startup I want to leave the company due to toxic culture, but have three months of notice period my manager is ready to give a salary hike but not ready to reduce my notice period How to shop offers with three months notice??

So i joined this mature startup 10 months back, and my role as per JD was team leader. Till date I am doing the IC role and doing all day sales calls. I have highlighted the same to my manager and skip level, but always getting answer like it is new product, market situation is no good, we believe in lean structure etc. I am tired of doing same shit everyday. What’s your suggestion?

I'm feeling really stuck and frustrated at work lately. Despite putting in my best efforts and consistently performing well, it seems like my manager is feeling threatened by my progress. He’s been rejecting my ideas and work without even reviewing them, and calling me out in meetings for not completing non-priority tasks. The environment has become really toxic and it's taking a toll on me. Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you handle it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am a software engineer with 3 years of experience .For the first two initial years I was working as a QA in one of the good product companies with a very sorted work life balance . I had recently switched to a BE role in a startup I am very much lagging behind here because of my QA background ,the people here are very much talented and are great problem solvers .How do I reach that level ? I have been struggling to keep up with the pace here and finding it difficult to approach the tasks,even though i have been giving so much of time to work . And the TL in my team have a certain amount of expectations and hence they don't help according to that .(which i feel is fair) How should I approach this and level up here Anyone with a similar background and story please share your experience :) Any advice would really help

A few colleagues of mine who got promoted in the mid year cycle had ordered a few snacks yesterday. But I didn't go there due to the fact that I wasn't promoted in this cycle. I know that this attitude of mine is going to hurt me but I don't know how to handle this. Any suggestions because frankly speaking this feeling is killing me from inside and I can't stop thinking about this even after my office is over.

4yoe Engineer turned Product Manager. It's been 8 months I joined this B2B SaaS startup as an APM. Engineering team... mostly interns. Most of my time goes into execution following up with devs. Is the PR reviewed, is the bug fix deployed. No Jira, scrum, sprint planning whatsoever. CEO runs the whole show. Only fear driven product management. I have no idea what it means to work on vision or strategy. My career has started off with a shitty foundation. Everyday I feel like quitting. What should I do? Quit right away or wait n switch to a better company?

I am an APM with 1 YOE, I am fed up with this toxic culture & couldn’t feel any progress post college. I am thinking of quitting in the coming month & go home & figure out for a next gig, also move to Bangalore. Questions: Should I quit or not? Would I get a better comp? Hi experienced professionals, I have to provide the details about my reporting manager for the BGV check. So Do I need to provide the exact one or anyone in the company from the diff team with whom I had good terms ? PS - My manager was a dumb ,puppet and bootlicker of my team lead who was the most toxic person on the earth and I had v v bad terms with both of them. Team lead has been kicked out of the company. For the past two years, I have been working as a software engineer at a service-based company. In this type of organization, employees are often assigned to different projects over time. Currently, my manager, who also serves as the team lead, has been engaging in excessive micromanagement. They seem to be nitpicking and closely scrutinizing nearly every aspect of my work, which I find to be a very frustrating and stifling experience. This level of micromanagement has made me feel uncomfortable and hindered my ability to work effectively. I am now considering changing jobs, as I believe this working environment is not conducive to my professional growth and development. Given the challenges I'm facing with my manager's approach, I am wondering if it would be a good decision to seek employment elsewhere. I am contemplating this move in order to find a work environment that is better aligned with my needs and allows me to thrive as a software engineer.
