Need genuine advice on switching

currently I work in an ai consulting company (<40 folks) with 20+ lpa salary. recently I got an offer from a big mnc bank for around 15% hike on my total ctc. I informed my current org yesterday and they have countered me with a 20% hike now. I am confused on what to choose. ps: I have ~5 yoe.

Hi all, Looking for some suggestions on the group on my current situation I currently make 85k pm in hand (wfh) which makes my inhand fix to around 12 I have been offered a new role in mumbai for 18 lpa fixed. My goal is to prep for cat Should I consider this switch? Post mba does your pre mba exp and ctc matter in placements?

I recently got offer from an early stage startup in banglore. They raised a total funding of $5.19M over 2 rounds. My offer is 13 LPA + 1 lakh retention bonus 5k per month for commute and health insurance I have past experience of 2 years working with 2 startups and building apps from scratch for them. Honestly I'm really confused about this offer, it is for sure better than my previous offer but I'm not feeling satisfied. Any suggestions guys?

I joined my current org right out of college and have been working here for 2+ years. I really like the company’s culture, openness while pay is also great as per my standards and needs. I recently interviewed for a startup casually and got an offer as well. Now I’m in a dilemma whether I should join the new org or stay although the pay jump looks pretty decent to me. P.S. Not a brag post but genuinely looking for answers as I’m really out of touch with the industry and given the current recession, can’t really make up my mind. Current TC.- 20 Offered - 26 + variable

Hi I'm currently working on lending side in an Indian Bank. I got offer with a 60% hike in CTC( 30% in fixed). Should I take it as I'm sceptical since the new company is small and not as established. The new role is with the founder however it does not seem to be structured. my current prospects in the current company are limited to a 15 % appraisal and maybe a promotion

Currently I’m in a 600 member saas company with 23L CTC (60% fixed) - Account Management role. The culture is great and the work was joyful until 3-4 months back. Now its not that joyful nor am I enthusiastic about the company’s future. I have an offer from a 200 member saas company who has grown rapidly even in such economic conditions. Getting an offer of 18 to 20L (90% fixed) - CSM role. What would you choose if you were in my place?

I am SDE and I joined a company 2.5 months back. I don't like the work that I am doing and the company is far from being profitable+ a huge cash burn + management is not good. I interviewed with some other company and they have offered me a role. On paper it's an upgraded role but they are offering the exact salary as the current one + some esops. Would you accept the offer if you were in my place? Some general info: 1. Hate the work I am doing currently, the knowledge I get here can't be used in other companies. 2. Work is slow, not learning anything new 3. New company seems good from outside till now, have to validate with ex-employees 4. New company has Hybrid work, current is WFO 5. Have another offer which is paying a bit more than the 'new company' but don't want to join it, These guys are not matching the offer sadly

I am an APM with 1 YOE, I am fed up with this toxic culture & couldn’t feel any progress post college. I am thinking of quitting in the coming month & go home & figure out for a next gig, also move to Bangalore. Questions: Should I quit or not? Would I get a better comp? My current comp. is 12.35L What are the things I should note before I make a move & what would you advice personally.

3 years post-MBA exp. Currently at INR 35+ LPA. Offer in impact consulting at INR 23 LPA. Should I take it? Joining in Jan'24. Reason for switch - can't tolerate my toxic manager anymore. Have already put down my papers. Line of thought: 1. Take it - Something is better than nothing. At least paisa aate rahega. 2. Wait - Once I go at a lower package, difficult to demand a hike on my current one. 3. Take it, don't mention it - Companies will negotiate hard to lowball me if they know I am not working (gets worse if the LWD of my current company and the time am applying have a huge gap). Money matters to me. But have been introspecting a lot. Will appreciate realistic input from the community.

A. CBD Belapur Navi Mumbai - 25 LPA, Gov. Bank as a client, project is upgrading the bank application to 2.0 B. Park Street Kolkata - 20 LPA, one of the oldest conglomerates in India as a client. Profile is Project Management Joined A for a couple of days, then joined B as nothing was moving in A. I like the job in B but feeling uncomfortable with the difference of 5 LPA. I agreed for it initially considering Kolkata has lower expenses, but realising now that's not the case. A is still on and I can join back again. Most of the issues due to which I stopped going have been resolved. But I'll loose out on the amazing experience of setting up and transitioning of a company in B. Please help me decide whether I leave B & join A again.. 🤔
