Hey everyone, We've got an exciting journey ahead, and we're at a crossroads. Our AI startup is all set to take off, but we're fighting with an important question: should we seek funding for our startup ? Here's the scoop: Our team is hard at work on a game-changing problem-solving service platform. Right now, we've got the skills to create the entire product, but most of us are Python enthusiasts, and we could use some extra hands with diverse talents to take our venture to the next level, which do require funding. The story behind our decision to dive into the startup world is the success of our previous project. It gained some impressive traction, fueling our desire to turn it into a startup. But there's a hurdle on the horizon - funding. And also the investment landscape is in a bit of a winter chill right now. It's 2024. B2B sales buyer behaviour is changing rapidly. Most companies are dropping their SaaS subscriptions left and right. Inboxes of decision makers are cluttered. Industries are becoming saturated with similar undifferentiated software that have unclear value prop. If you had to grow (or already are growing) your early stage B2B SaaS startup 10x in 2024 to $100K ARR, what would you do?

I was working as head of data and analytics in Zepto , Swiggy , flipkart now is razorpay. I felt work is of very poorly quality in most Indian startup , no idea of kpi, useless machine learning model , no investment in infrastructure. I think no point in joining any Indian startup as very few founder value data Now I have worked in Walmart and Citibank , core strategic decisions happens in USA and headquarters so Indian office is only pleasing the hq with support work Now analytics service like tiger fractal again work is to do sales bring any work and add to top line Witch company even more shit show So I am delusional and thinking of quitting the data and analytics field or build something of my own Data and Ai in India is just to show off and get investor money and load the pnl without return

Working on a few big pitches for clients that could evolve into long term contracts. We basically offer a bunch of standalone products and services, and are now putting it together in packages to offer as a year long contract or more. What are the most important factors to keep in mind while negotiating such contracts? What kind of research should I do on the clients? Any words of advice on the approach with current and future prospects? Context: We have a decent brand value (b2b2c) that brings inbound leads every year, and we've mostly just been busy with them so far. We are just starting outbound properly, but don't want to dilute our brand value.

I work in the Data Privacy and protection domain. You won't believe me if I said we are spending $M on BigId and OneTrust apps (including infra cost for on prem). As an SME and power user of these apps I can tell you they are spreadsheets with CTA buttons that calls some APIs. Their AI, ML posturing are all marketing gimmicks. Doesn't work well. Since they costs $$$ many privacy pros are asking for cheaper alternatives which not many seems to be available. My ambition is to build a SaaS company that offers privacy app suite that is affordable and works much better. My action plan: 1. Complete FIP (fellowship in Privacy from Iapp) n become an influencer. Am already networking with privacy pros. 2. I am learning Bubble development now I know 1 is tough and 2 nd may be even tougher.. but this is my 2024 goals. I may fail but I need to give it a try To build a SaaS business in a niche domain, what would you recommend I do? How would you do it.

I started working on a quiz solution when my daughter had managed to fracture her right hand. It worked well for her and definitely helped her with her learning outcomes. Seeing the potential I extended the solution which can be used by school students. The main idea is to merge a quiz based learning app with school ERP. I don't see this happening in the current scenario even in reputed schools in metros, while I am thinking to market my app in tier 2/3 cities for schools where they don't have any thing at all. The cost is next to nothing, hence the solution can be offered very cheaply. Unfortunately I am unable to break the sales puzzle. Partly because, I am working full time and don't want to create issues of dual employment or conflict of interest and hence can't work on the sales side full time.
