Not getting any callbacks

I'm actively searching for SDE-2 roles for more than 2 months now. I have 2+ yrs of experience. From almost all the companies I'm getting rejected at resume level itself even tho I'm having relevant experience. Any tips on how to fastrack this and get interview calls?

It's not you, It's the tech market. Employers are being very picky as the supply of candidates far exceeds the demand, and most startups are trying to cut down spending to increase their runway

Have you applied to more than 500 positions (~100 companies) ?

  1. Use Naukri, LinkedIn, Google job board.
  2. Apply even if it doesn't match the whole profile
  3. Target startups. Don't just Target big cos Good luck mate. It's exhausting but you have got this.

Also suggest applying on Instahyre. I got most of my calls from Instahyre and LinkedIn.

Try SDE-1 ?

Tried it. Same situation. Currently the competition is so high. I personally feel that it's right time to try for sde-2 roles else I need to wait for atleast 1 more year to be an sde-2.

Ok maybe u have high comp. too so it’s harder to get someone willing to at least match that. If so, wait till things get better

Same here with 2 yr experience. Applying a lot, mostly SDE1. No responses. Even a rejection response would make me happy now.
