One of the worst interview experience with CoinDCX

So I applied on Coindcx website for an open role about a week ago. Their HR “manager” called me after CV review and asked general questions like past role, why looking for a change etc. Then came the CTC part. He said my expected CTC is out of their budget as their budget is like 10% increment from my current role but he will try to stretch to 15%, the next day I called and said since I need to move city as well if you can get upto 20, I am good. His response “lets start the process and then we will see” Next day Round 1. The person join the called and was without camera, even though my camera was on (I always thought its common courtesy to have camera on). From her way of talking it looked she was not prepared or afraid to take interview. There was no introduction, no hello, we straight away went to interview. She said she will ask 1 DSA question, 1 SQL question then some theory. I solved the DSA question, she asked me to add few things I did, now her reaction to this was (I am not able to understand how your code works so I am not sure it will give output). Then we went to SQL question, her question had incorrect values and I had to point it out to her, I solved that as well with some assumptions as I forgot some syntax. She then forgot the actual output and said your output is incorrect then I showed this is what you asked so she was like okay Then abruptly we ended the interview when she said please ask any questions which I asked around work, even that she was not answering correctly. It was like either she was not interested or she was afraid. Within hours I got rejection mail as well. So either because of CTC they did a formal interview (which I am like you can say you are out of budget), or if your interviewer is not good please get it fixed. Will never apply for this company for sure

Horror Interview Experience 😰

Recently, I underwent an interview process where the first round went smoothly, but things took an unexpected turn in the second round. The HR representative informed me that they hadn't even reviewed my CV yet, prompting a spontaneous "tell me about yourself" conversation. Despite feeling positive about the interview, I was ultimately rejected without receiving any clear explanation as to why. Reflecting on the experience, I can't help but wonder what might have gone wrong. It's possible that the HR representative had already made up their mind about a preferred candidate, turning my interview into a mere formality. Alternatively, it's conceivable that the interviewer was fatigued after a long day of conducting interviews, leading to a less thorough evaluation of my candidacy. Regardless of the reasons behind the outcome, it's disheartening to feel as though my efforts were disregarded. As candidates, we invest significant time and energy into preparing for interviews, hoping for the opportunity to contribute to an organization we admire. In situations like these, it's crucial for HR professionals to act responsibly and ethically, providing transparent communication throughout the process. While I had hoped to receive feedback or at least a notification regarding the outcome, days passed without any communication from the company. The realization that I had not secured the position was disappointing, leaving me to contemplate the lessons learned from this experience and the importance of resilience in the face of setbacks.

Most Pathetic Microsoft Interview Experience after 8 rounds - L61

Education: Tier 3 College TC: ~34L YOE: 3 in PBCs (including MAANG) (Currently SE2) I recently got a chance to interview with Microsoft and it was probably one of the worst interview experiences ever. Team: CCE - Commerce Customer Experience (BEWARE OF THESE FOLKS!) Round 1 - March 27, 2024 An engineer from WA reached out to me via call and told me that they want to interview me for an opening. I was happy and agreed for an interview the next day at night. In the meantime, I asked the seniority, the job description, and the interview structure. He said 4 rounds and sent me a SE2 job description. He asked me DSA and some basic Java Questions. The interview went very well. Self Verdict: Pass Actual Verdict: Pass Round 2 - April 1, 2024 A manager (who would have become my manager if selected), called me. He sits in HYD office. Asked me for an interview. He asked me tougher DSA and System Design. The interview went very well. Self Verdict: Pass Actual Verdict: Pass Round 3 - April 10, 2024 Another person, who is the manager of the 2nd interviewer called me and asked me for an interview. Same, DSA, System Design. The interview went very well. Self Verdict: Pass Actual Verdict: Pass Before round 4, I had to call and write emails to my 3rd round of interviewer to ask for updates as there is no HR involved; and he said, "The position has been put to hold because of some internal restructuring. Please just wait!" Round 4 - April 24, 2024 Another perosn called me from WA, and requested to schedule an interview. I thought this would be my last round. He asked me DSA, and tried to understand my profle and asked me some AA interview like questions. The interview went very well. Self Verdict: Pass Actual Verdict: Pass Now, I was just hoping for a call form the HR to ask me for details to release an offer. But now the twist starts! Read more here:
