Folks who are hiring for jobs that require ideating or writing, have you noticed the extensive use of ChatGPT in application responses? 

Once we recieve job applications, we send out 4 simple questions to shortlisted candidates. 

What surprised us is the over use of ChatGPT in most assignments. And not just for minor tweaking or to add a finishing touch—some answers are clearly generated directly by ChatGPT (one even included this phrase ""As an AI language model, I suggest...""). And this was for an experienced role. 

How are other recruiters addressing this challenge? And how are applicants making use of ChatGPT in their responses?

Data Analyst

I cleared all 6 rounds of a PM interview with an Edtech startup.  The HR asked for current offer letter, 2 references (current and previous manager), and a couple of other docs. 

Then ghosted me for 2 weeks. When I followed up, the HR said they are in-process of interviewing other candidates

Is it normal to do this now a days? 

I understand the company wants to interview more people. But then why ask for any details from me till you are sure that you are going to give an offer

Anyone hiring APM's at the moment? I applied to urban company & even though I meet most of the requirements I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna get shortlisted because of my college brand.

I applied to Phonepe, spinny, MPL as well but i think the result will be the same due to above reason.

Any other firms hiring APM's that you know of? Any help would be appreciated🙂

Anyone hiring for an APM role

Hey there everyone, 

I hope you all are having a wonderful day.

I'll get straight to the point, I've been applying for jobs for last 3 months and i haven't got a single call back or interview calls from anywhere, I've applied to 100 of companies, from entry level job to mid senior level job, I've tried every job portal, I've tried getting referrals, hell I've sent 500+ cold emails, I've also tried tailoring my resume for the role.

Now a little bit about myself:


I'm currently working as a product analyst and have 3 YOE. I did my b.tech from tier 1 college and graduated in 2021.
Right after graduation i got a job with a decent package.

So considering my profile and YOE, it shouldn't be this hard tp get a job or even a call back!!

Can anyone tell me what am i doing wrong?, or anyone care to give any tips.

Ps: why the hell are companies asking for 5-6 YOE for an analyst profile??!!!

Gave interview in Amazon Ads team for AAM role (L3), all three round went well still no response, where I was hopeful. How HM's are curating profiles, after holding 3+ years of experience in the applied role domain, with relevant experience basis JD, still HM's are not responding. 

What kind of hiring is this?

I am currently working as an APM at an AI startup(B2B SAAS) working on genAI product. Have 2 YOE and base of 20 LPA.
Looking to switch due to growth barrier and work culture. 
Have given interviews with startups in similar domain for APM roles but getting ghosted after 3-4 rounds. I am looking for 20-30% hike.
Am i asking too much?

I have an offer from a firm where they have mentioned that their current apm has a payscale of 8-9.

Isn't that a bit too low?

I saw a report by the product folks group where they collected 550 data points & found the avg salary to be around 16. Now, that is pretty high & im not sure whether they've collected the data from only big tech startups.

My previous was 11(10+1) & i initially mentioned 13-14 which i dont think they'll agree on. Should i ask for 12 fixed & let them decide the rest?

What if the candidate doesn't fit the budget, or the notice period is a bit too much etc. Imagine going through so much only to be laid off because "sorry we hired like crazy and need to do cost-cutting now"
