Career Switch from QA to PMM
I have 7+ years of experience as a QA Engineer but am not willing to continue in this field. Thinking of switching to PMM riles what should I do where should I start
I am 4 years of QA who handles almost all prospects in product (Both manual and automation) . I tried to switch to PM and learnt PM principles and created portfolio. But now I am in dilemma that switching to PM or QA in the rapidly changing technology environment .
Kindly suggest me some insights
QA (manual) are getting phased out in organisations as now devs are expected to do the unit testing before releasing. I suggest either focusing on automation QA or switch to PM if that is something which interests you and you are ready to make that leap. A PM role is vastly different from a QA role in terms of ownership, accountability and delivery. Think through that, and make a call
