Preparing for Full-Stack Roles in a Competitive Job Market

I have 2.5+ YOE on .NET in Accenture as backend developer. But I want to switch to React and Java full stack role. I can fake react experience as I'm decent and confident on the frontend. But how do I grab a Java backend role, as I don't have any experience in it? I don't want to apply for a frontend only role, as I'm genuinely interested in Fullstack. Please suggest. I'm preparing for interviews right now.

After working for 2 years as a Frontend dev fresh out of college, I was looking to prep for a change now. A lot of what I searched about frontend interviews involved JS/HTML/CSS and some framework-specific fundamentals which makes sense. However, I've also seen a lot about people brushing up on algorithms, practising leetcode which I found painful since it rarely pops up in actual work, if at all. Any idea on what I should focus on? Or any help when navigating the interview process?

I have joined a startup as Backend Developer Intern. I get a stipend of 6K/ Month. They said they will offer full time position after internship, but the salary will be 10-12K. The only good thing is I am directly working on a live project. I am making REST APIs there. I have 5 months of time. What should I do? Should I learn react or should I learn backend concepts more deeply. I am also planning to apply for jobs side by side. Give your valuable thoughts on what should I do?

Brief about me - I have around a year of experience working as a Frontend developer, primarily with ReactJS. I'm a frontend dev, with close to 5 years of workex. I've been trying to switch to a full stack dev role for a couple of years now. Tried switching internally, but it didn't work because there were too many backend devs and too much dependency. Stuck with an infinite leetcode loop, did online courses but couldn't put those skills to work in building projects. I'm looking for some advice with a focus on cracking the interviews. The plan is to take up a Full stack dev role in the next 3 months. Thanks in advance!

Suppose you’re a senior frontend/backend/devops person - basically one stack where your core skills are and those same skills will be tested in your next jump interview. Now if you’re a backend person with core skills in Java & Postgresql but due to some reasons you’re now asked to contribute in frontend code. Now you don’t want to sell yourself as fullstack in ur next move and time would be better spent learning Go… So just to make current job easier for yourself, do you spend time in learning frontend too? Or do you just somehow make it work without learning how and why? And truthfully keeping yourself updated or upskilling in Java itself is a time consuming task.

I am a full stack developer having almost 3.8 years of experience and working on Asp.Net and React and looking for a job change but i am not getting enough calls .kindly suggest what to do in this type of scenarios .

Can i switch my career from frontend to backend as I am having 3.5 years of experience in react. If I can, than how, as whenever I try to do so i am not shortlisted for backend role. Also in my company it's difficult to switch as they are not allowing to do so ? Thanks in advance 😃😃

I've been looking for react js developer role and I am fresher but every company I approach they want experience react js developer what should I do in this case. Should I learn more technologies like next js, typescript to embrace my resume infront of recruiter or anything else. Please provide me with your suggestions!
