Since there's many Swiggy employees here. I love Insanely Good. I've stopped ordering from BB / Instamart, Blinkit and my local shops. 

1/ User Interface - just amazing

2/ Quality of Ingredients - the best amongst online retailers

3/ The no door bell delivery - a basic need now. BB guys don't go away till they count every last tomato at 7am. 

What I want to know / suggestions from my side

1/ Are you scaling up in Mumbai/ Delhi? Would love to hook my parents on to it. 

2/ Is the business generally doing good? I've referred it to 3 people so far and they've all started using it. Hopefully this isn't just me in an odd power iser cohort 

3/ Can it get bundled in the Swiggy Credit Card? I shop for all my groceries here, nothing better than the card extending benefits to me. 

4/ What about Meat? If I can get good quality chicken, prawns, fish sourced locally it'd be amazing. Even just a tie up with lucious, I'll order it from your app. 

5/ Looking forward to your inventory expanding - many minor gripes with items missing across sections.

Am I the asshole?

After a few months clear to me an employee was taking company for a ride. Average a few days a week in the office, otherwise sick/on errands, delivered no work. CTC 55L.

Before I could fire her, she announced she was taking Maternity leave a few months into the job. Well crap guess I need to pay her for 6 more months more because of laws I don't understand. Rip my bank account.

She returns, same issues. I put her on a pip & she resigned telling me I'm sexist and it will be hard to find a new job now. I say sorry, performance was bad, she can do pip and stay if things are better. She askes for 2 months salary and i agree.

A lawyer calls telling me I need to pay more or they will file a case. Said I discriminated to her, and it's not legal.

I think this person is a bully/psycho/self entitled. But am I the asshole?

Thats how things play.  
 Sometimes things are genuine sometimes u come across opportunists. You can never fully get to know what is the actual situation. 
  
 She might have genuine problems but if the conduct aint good, to hell with it.  
 She might be faking it to retrieve more money,

From one of the recent GV posts, I figured out that healthy food (free obviously) when offered, can act as a great perk for group of people.

Let’s see whatever perks and benefits people are getting at wherever they work. Magnitude may not matter, however we may find out something really unique and different, which other companies aren’t focusing on. Kindly share your take on the pros and cons of it. 

Anyone and everyone can participate in this. Besides salaries, let’s see the added benefits, perks etc right from an early stage startup to whichever MNC possible.
