Reddit is one of the most overrated app.
The app feels so cluttered, unappealing and old fashioned now. Which is why I am exploring other apps π

Yes but they need to make the interface easier and modern. No doubt about the content though π

If it works it works. No need to jump on the modern minimalistic design bandwagon Β―β \β _β (β γβ )β _β /β Β―

It was one of the first online forums, so it has old elite internet users who moderate it heavily ( so good content) and keep others away by not upgrading the interface, vague description in a nutshell π

But sadly reddit had it shut down, like several others. Atleast reddit would have taken cues from them to revamp, but no it doesn't care to change.
It wasn't a problem for me till they started downgrading the web client experience on mobile and banning 3rd party clients and it all went to shi.. Now you gotta have their crappy app installed if you are researching something.
I just use Lemmy as a stand-in to the reddit communities, but honestly I'm rarely browsing them.
