I'm a final year student from a tier 2 college. I was talking to one of my friends, and he proposed the idea of pursuing a master's degree. I didn't have any plans of doing so before, but now I am considering it. I've been doing some research, and I am quite confused about whether it would be a good choice or not. There are numerous people on YouTube discussing the pros and cons of pursuing a Master of Science abroad. Some of the points include recession, permanent residency, fees, expenses, working hours, lifestyle, and the list continues. While these aspects may seem common, they appear more complicated given my current situation. To provide more context, I have been working a full-time job since my 4th semester and am currently earning more than what FAANG companies offer. If I choose to pursue a master's degree, I will likely be leaving my well-established job. Although I have the opportunity to work remotely, as I am currently doing, I am not sure if I would be able to cover my expenses with that arrangement. The reason I am considering this is to obtain a working visa that would allow me to work abroad.
Thank you for your comments. Additionally, which country would you suggest for pursuing a master's degree?
PS: Since I have been working alongside my studies, my CGPA isn't that high, its 8.15 as of now.

I'm currently working as a software engineer in India, with TC 45LPA and 2 years of experience. I'm thinking about applying for a Master's in CS in the USA for fall 2024. But I'm not sure if I want to settle there or not currently. Should I make the move considering things are going well in India? Getting a job directly in the US seems close to impossible. Any advice? Guys so a little background. I am currently 22. Single child. And I am doing a job in Bangalore. I recently got my greencard for USA along with my parents. This presents me with an amazing opportunity to create a life in the USA. But one thing that keeps bothering me is that my parents would have to live here alone. They are around 50. 

My dad suggests that I try for sometime in the USA and if I am happy I can continue, otherwise I can come back. But lets say I try for 5 years. I will be 27. Wouldn't it be too late to come back to India as I would have created a life in USA already and would be most probably be ready for marriage at that time and that demands a bit of stability.

Please give your advice. It would help a lot.

Hey everyone I’m a fresher with around 6 months of experience as a java developer in a start up! I was thinking about doing MS in USA, but not sure what course, How & When,  But I’m sure it’ll help me and my poor family to level up, and also I dont have any godfather or dearly relative to help with the required knowledge, thought this’ll be the better platform to ask my questions! How is it guys? Will it worth to spend 50L+ to study in US n get a job there? Whats the success rate? Will I be able to do it? Does it require more talent than it takes to do it in India? I have been working as a software developer for the past 4 years mostly on startups. Pay is good(top 10%) no issues while working everything good in work life no problems. But there is always a feeling that I am not good at basic understanding of development I feel it is because  I didn't go to any IIT or any other major colleges or didn't study for any particular exams. I just learned everything by doing it not by preparing beforehand. There is fear that maybe that's not always enough which makes me a little bit afraid of giving interviews of big tech companies.
