Should I switch to UI/UX

I am currently working as an Industrial Designer at a Startup ( 14 LPA ). I have a Master’s Degree in Design from Indian Institute of Science. I am not finding jobs and am very confused about wether to continue as an Industrial Designer since I see very less demand as of now. On the other hand UX design is very lucrative in terms of perks and package. Your thoughts would be really helpful.

Don’t switch. The market is too crowded. Use your ID skills and learn basics of UX . Approach a company with a unique prospect of having an industrial designer + UX designer :) best of luck. If you have a job in ID, youre the creme de la creme of industrial design India
