I am from a tier 1 college and our placements season is going on, this year the market is very bad, we have very less companies than the previous year and the pay is low as well. From Dec 1, our interview will start but till now I have got no interview shortlist. But I have got an off-campus offer for 13LPA in Greater Noida, I wanted to ask if 13LPA is good enough for living in Greater Noida. The recruiter asked me how much I expected I panicked and said 13LPA, actually I wish more than I said, I mean if they give 13LPA as base rather than CTC then it is more than enough for me. Should i take the offer or negotiate or do what? If negotiated, then how can the company agree to 13LPA base? 

TL;DR: should I accept a 13LPA offer or negotiate it, for a dev role in Greater Noida. I am fresher sitting for my campus placements.

I work for a Series A start-up in Bangalore. I have 5 YOE and my current base is 21 LPA and ~5L worth of ESOPs a year.

Seeing Grapevine salary charts, I feel I might be underpaid. Should I negotiate or look for other opportunities or is the base I am getting now alright?

Am I being underpaid for SDE 2?

I might get an offer from the company which is ready to give me good amount of money, but it's in banglore , I do wfh right now 2+ exp, how much should I ask so that I can live life to the fullest there, here is what I have calculated:
My expenses in HSR layout: around 50k
My investments: around 50k
My saving and other stuff to enjoy my life there and send money to my parents also: 60k
Total: 1.6lakhs per month atleast
For that I need to have 24lpa as a base.. plus I need some relocation bonus.
Is my expected salary at banglore less or more?

Hai All
working in a service based company around 4 years of exp CTC 8 LPA. Able to land an offer from a startup company with 12 LPA
since I am in notice period, I got many calls from other service based companies  WITCH. I clearly mentioned that I'm expecting 15 -17 LPA as a Backend developer which they said was okay. But after all the interview rounds they are not going more than 14 LPA and during negotiation there are trying to put guilt on my side (why are you switching after having an offer, 4 years we can't give more than 13Lpa )

I just want to know how to negotiate  well during discussions

Offer 2 : 33 LPA base + 25% of base (perf bonus) 8.2 LPA= 41.2 LPA location is Hyderabad 
Offer 3 :  252000 AED (57 LPA) location Dubai (no tax)

Hi everyone recently got job offer. And here is the what I'm getting.
Is it good.

Job role : SDE1
Tech stack : Nodejs, React, AWS, DevOps
CCTC: 6.5 all fixed 

Offer CTC : 8 fixed + 4 L ESOP + 1 to 1.5 performance bonus

Is it worth it.

I will be getting another offer 8.5 fixed.

How to negotiate for that.

It's is first switch and I was laid off in Feb.
I'm moderately good at problem solving and have LC : 1600+
CF : 1450+

Please share your view.
I'm really open for suggestions.

Hi fishes, I have 3 yoe as Java, Spring Boot developer. I am serving notice period and current ctc is 7.92 LPA (6.48 fixed). I have an offer from Infosys 12 LPA (I guess 10.1 fixed) and today I'm gonna have a call with HR from DBS for offer negotiation. I am planning to ask for 15 Fixed.

Please suggest me if I am asking for a reasonably fixed salary. Can I also ask for a joining bonus?? Kindly pen down any suggestions. #DBS #Infosys
