Certification is fine, but I would recommend getting some practical knowledge. Companies care more about attitude than skill set for the entry level.

Try doing some internships and make a github profile. Upload your projects on Github and share it with recruiters when you apply for a job. Your practical knowledge will give you more leverage than a certificate.

I have a Liberal Arts background with my focus always in Social Impact. Recently, I did a management degree and pivoted into a generalist role - working at a social enterprise as part of the CEO's Office.

Unfortunately, I am not getting any analytical work or a single chance to play around with data. But I want to do so, and desperately. 

What kind of resources will you recommend me to get better with data analytics? 

I have already zeroed on doing an Advanced Excel Certificate (as revision), also keen on doing Six Sigma Certification from LinkedIn (just to better my basics and start thinking analytically).

What does it take to switch my career from an SAP Consultant to a Full Stack Data Engineer.

I have already completed one learning for FSE which included the basics of SQL, Python, MongoDB, Apache PySpark, Apache Kafka, Power BI, Hadoop.

I have achieved a certification as well for the Full Stack Data Engineer Program.
