I am a 2023 batch passout BE CSE, i worked in Newfold Digital company for 7 months in support  and now I have just joined tech Mahindra as Associate Software Engineer,

I want to know how should i move forward to get a 12lpa package.

I have worked on backed(java) 

Also considering current situation of AI, I would appreciate any comments other fields such as Deep learning or ML

Am I being overpaid?
I am a backend engineer with 7 years of experience. I've been rejected by multiple organizations during salary discussions. They mentioned they can't provide such a high salary. Are my expectations inaccurate?

Current CTC: 45 LPA
Expected CTC: 54 LPA
Designation: Team Lead, Backend

Hey SDEs and techies out there, plz give me an info.
I have been consistently practicing DSA for the past 4 months , I have solved around <200 problems. Now when can I consider myself an interview ready? I can understand that "mere count" doesn't matter, but as an employee/hiring manager/Recruiter how much of Leetcode (say 3000+/500+ problem) will attract you to check out the profile/give referral/get interested in?
What else will you look out for in a candidate with 2YOE? Your insights will be valuable. Thanks a ton

Hi , can folks here guide steps /suggest how to get SDE role at entry role . I regret giving 2 yrs a career for the civil services exam. I graduated with BTech in  2021 . If I had only sat for college placements at my Tier 1 college, I wouldn't have been living with regrets. I have been doing projects in the MERN stack . I also have skills like Postgresql, Trpc and am familiar with using ORMs and type validators like Zod . Since I had no previous experience at internship or full time , no companies are shortlisting my profile .

I got an oncampus offer from deshaw (Sdet role 52 ctc) and I have one more offer from Blackrock (sde role 20 ctc).
What should I opt for ?

I want to switch but want a company which can provide me higher number of income for SDET or similar role, currently I am in 10-15 years of experience bracket so looking out the companies which provide such high package to SDET as well (Why Devs should have all fun?).

Which company pays the highest to the around 80+ LPA (Fixed CTC) for an SDET or QA/SDET manager role in India?

What the process of Deel for their hiring and how a jobseeker find job on Deel or is deel is the right platform to get a good job or you know any other job hiring platform like deel then tell me in the comments.

Anyone can tell me how to get hired through deel??

SDETs are typically engineering productivity and automation roles.
Even Solution Architects considered same for some companies.
Are there anyone earning in 1cr or 2cr rupees?

Open Roles and JDs:

1. SDE-1 and 2 Front-end 

Experience: 2-8 years
Degree in CS or IT
Knowledge of Node.js, JS, and at least 1 modern framework like React.js, Vue.js, Angular

2. SDE-2 and 3 Backend
Experience: 3-8 years
Degree in CS or IT
Knowledge of Java, Go, or Python. and good DSA skills
Can solve LLD and HLD questions


3. SDET-1 and 2 

Experience: 2-10 years
Good to have Degree in CS/IT
Knowledge of Java, or Python API automation. and good DSA skills
Experience with Windows 2000/2003 (not a strict requirement)

PS: the criteria for back to work is enforced by company.

I am a penetration tester having 7 years of experience. Though I am doing pretty well in my current role, I am not feeling the impact it creates. Security is seen as a support function and does not bring real value other than audit reports for the sake of regulatory requirements.

Building something gives the real impact on thousands of customers. I want to switch to SDE roles, willing to put whatever the effort it takes.

Hi everyone,
            I am a Masters student from Tier1 College(Please do not think I'm bragging about the clg I'm in but to give better idea about myself) will be completing by May 2024 previously graduated from a Tier 3 college in 2021 and before doing masters I had worked in DRDO for about couple of months as JRF (So I'm a fresher).
Please go through my resume and suggest me about getting a Job in SDE.
I understand there will be very less SDE jobs in future and I tried preparing for AI/ML roles but I really do not enjoy AI but still having some knowledge in AI domain (but not enough to work in AI roles) and I have very less hands on experience in doing AI projects but I have good experience in software development and want to leave the AI boat and whatever happens work more on Software development (as I feel it is not possible to travel in both the boats). 
I really applied quite a lot in linkedin, wellfound and other job boards but did not get any response from them. Kindly please suggest me what's wrong with my resume or what should I focus on in order to get a Job.
I was expecting 12LPA but now seems getting a job is a blessing.

Really want a read from Every Software Engineer | Your suggestions are really Important for me

Hey all, i was thinking of making a switch now after completing 1.5 years roughly (the while process might take 3/4 months roughly as i need to prepare everything from beginning). Was confused between joining an established company vs a startup.

I personally want to join the former as i want to focus on other interests of mine and am fine with less salary but with less stress and working hours.
My friends are suggesting to for the latter as im still a beginner and should focus more on learning.
Im not very passionate about software development but i would say im av+, what would anyone of you would have done?

Need advice for Switch

Looking to make the switch for the past few months and looking for 45LPA+ packages in Mumbai for 6YOE, Tier 3 grad but haven’t been able to. 
Most of the recruiters have been saying they don’t have that budget. Does anyone know of companies willing to pay that much here? 
Trying for remote companies like Atlassian,Twilio but have been getting rejected. I don’t want to move to Bangalore right now as i’ll be getting married soon
