I don't understand why you are still applying when u are already getting 14.25 LPA😒  
  
 You are not even on notice period and 4 months is insane. If u were getting 3-4 LPA it would be understandable but doing this after getting 14 LPA, I feel sorry for the company which hired u and I wish u get laid off asap 
  
 I wish there is a platform through which companies can know ungrateful candidates like u who are not devoted even for 1-2 years at the least inspite of getting dream packages being a fresher 
  
 I would not have told this if u were getting paid anything between 3-6 LPA and if u have done this not being a fresher. Learn to be thankful and grateful for the best opportunities given to u and don't be a shameless moron

How bad is the market out there. I usually get hired with in 30 job applications, also I apply to the role only if 70% and above role match with my previous experience also use referrals when available.

Being a tier 3 college grad, It took me 700 applications to get 25 shortlists, and only 7 interview calls. Converted all of them.

How to earn around 30-40k rupees in a month without a regular job?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to switch jobs for a better pay as my current CTC is 4.06 LPA which doesn't suffice me at all. Also,  I have got many calls for interviews but out of them only 6 interviews got arranged and in those interviews as well I am unable to ace them at all. I'm trying to apply for a Java Full Stack developer. I need suggestions as to where I should concentrate and how I should prepare myself. In the last few interviews that I gave, the interviewers asked questions about creating small programs and they didn't ask anything about my current and previous projects that I worked on. I need some suggestions as to what I can do here in this case. Also, how much salary can I expect for a switch if I have to answer for an expected salary.

So, today was my first day in corporate. Joined a company that i hate the most, the government job company. During the induction itself, I experienced shitty HR (including all their internal depts) policies and their shitty rules. They literally told new joiners that they are going to force associates to take up the project, no matter what tech stack you want to work in! what domain do you want to work in! 

Now, you may ask why did i join them in the first place? Well, the current job market for freshers is just too bad! Graduated in may 2023, spent past 4 months trying to get an interview, but never landed any (when applied with referrals HR said they want 4+ YoE, and also the struggle to get referral. got 2 replies on an avg per 40 DMs (<500 followers) per company, that too after expiry.) In the past 1.5 years, I've cracked OAs and tech rounds of fintech like phonepe and juspay, but final rounds went south due to ghosting and a bit of politics from the college side (i know this because I had some friends working for placement officer and also i confronted that officer). Hence, 4 jobless months led me to join this organization.

Please help me structure plan to get a good offer and leave this organization in 4 months.

The company did around 10-15% silent layoffs in the last cycle by putting people in PIP. 
My Manager told me that he has pressure on him to put at least 1 or 2 people in PIP, make them leave the company and reduce costs.

Later, the company did as low an appraisal as 2%.

Senior folks are leaving specifically Frontend Developers.

Salaries of a lot of SDE-2 are below 30 LPA.

They have started new positions called Product Developers which will do the same work as SDEs but with a lesser package. PD-1 salary is around 10-12 lakhs and of Lead PD is 20-22 lakhs.

The company is putting itself in a position where it wants people to leave on their own.

There are almost zero perks in the company. 
The team outing budget is a joke which is 2k INR per person per year. That is 500 rupees per person per quarter. 

Also making office mandatory from November.

I am working remotely at a SaaS company for 4+ years now. I started working since my final year of engineering. I joined here as a software engineering intern when the product was really new and booming. I have gotten bored of my work now, especially since I have been working from home all the time. I have very little social life. And I am getting fixed salary of about $1400 each month. I am thinking of switching to any Indian startup because I am not happy with my job being so monotonous and less pay at this level of experience. What should be the approach to crack the interviews? I have done DSA practice during my college days, but didn't crack any interviews with it. I am a full stack web developer but it doesn't excite me anymore and I want to stick to backend roles. And is it possible to crack an interview with for 30-40 LPA at this stage? Or do I have to climb up a salary ladder for a couple of years?

Switching to Indian startups job

Hi all, can anyone please tell me how to find jobs in the software industry. I am currently looking for a job for about 1 month and have applied to 100+ jobs still not receiving anything. Received one call from a company and cracked the interviews, too. HR told me that I was selected after that ghosted me. It's becoming really hard seeing people getting jobs, and here I am not getting a single interview call. I am also Knight in Leetcode and have around 1.9 years of experience. Dont know where I am going wrong. I'm going into depression these days.

Any help would be really appreciated 🙏.

I quit my last company in Dec 2023 due to some reasons. I was not aware the market would be this bad. Basically in a nutshell I have at least given interviews in 10-15 companies till now, cleared most of theirs all rounds, but for some reason or other they didn’t release an offer. some feedback includes, why do you want to join us with such less hike, you would leave us in few months. One said they are not able to get final sign off from their lord in US. And mostly others just stopped responding. ATM I don’t understand anything, emergency funds getting over, and realised all the network I made till now in my career and whom I helped are of no use. I know I wont get any clear advice here also, but just venting out. I am on the brink of just quitting everything of this corporate drama and start prepping for govt exam, or start a small biz in my town
