Suggest a language to learn
I'm thinking of picking up a new language to keep my brain sharp and break free from endless social media scrolling. 🧠💬 Moreover, I want the learning journey to be worthwhile, ensuring the new language is not just learned but also put to good use! 🌐📚

If you are in Bangalore and don’t know Kannada start with that first, you can put it to use as well 😂

Which language are you planning to learn?
Confused between learning Spanish, Korean and Japanese.
Spanish is popular Japanese is the toughest is what I heard followed by Korean.
But I don't know which will help me let's say if I work in an MNC.

I had started with Gujarati when I was in Mumbai few years back. Took me tenth of an effort to learn any foreign language. Helped me being around a few friends for small conversations. Best ratio of rewards to effort.
My fluency has dipped now.
After that small win, I went with German and Mandarin to mixed success. Watching Dark on Netflix seemed satisfying.
I am planning to go with Kannada now. And then slingshot to Spanish.

My two scents:
Score an early win in first 4 weeks by learning a language close to your tongue and that you can use and get the hit. Then go big with Spanish/German/French

Depends on what you want to achieve.
If you are planning on massive amounts of global travel - Español.
If you want to have a step up in the dating game - Française.
If you want to get closer to your roots - your mother-tongue / local language where you stay / Sanskrut.
Japanese if you like watching anime. I know I would pick it up just to understand anime without subtitles
- Hindi if you don't know it already, else the local language at wherever you're working at
- French. It's an official language in France, Swiss, Canada and has a huge population of speakers
Choice depends on what you want to learn the language for
