Hello everyone 
So a little about me: I’m a software developer working in a fintech startup in MOHALI.
2022 pass-out interned in the same startup as a backend intern in node js which was then converted into a full time offer after 6 months. Worked in node for almost 1.5 years, then switched to python + ops 
Starting compensation was 7 lpa and currently is 9 lpa. 
Thinking about switching but at the same time market looks risky as well.
Need suggestions for what to do, be it tech stack(is python in demand or node in demand?) , job change

I've 3 yoe, currently working in a very small startup as full-stack dev. Company's revenue is declining from Q4 last year.

Every month layoffs are happening in each team. Last week, a dev was laid off from my team.

No hike till now, working here from last 1.5 years. Although, got performance bonus twice.

I want to work on a few ideas, tried to work on weekends but it led to burn out and started affecting my health, suffered from mental fatigue.

Please suggest.

Me and my wife are 30 years old software engineer with no kids. Draw 7 lac a month please some yearly bonus. We invest 2 lac a month combined into equity market through mutual funds. 

Expenses: 1.5 lac a month including everything, lives in Bangalore in good society, owns a car, don't thing much before spending. 

Still after everything left with 3 lakhs every month in bank account. Not sure how to use that. We both don't have any fancy "shauk" where we can spend and hence don't have an urge to earn more. 

Any suggestions???

 For us (primarily me) - got a dog, took a 6 month sabbatical, travelled to 30+ countries in this time, left job to pursue startup idea, spend time with parents, learn language, improve fitness, learnt some coding, etc 
  
 It’s a pretty good position to be in - just explore I’d say

I am Fresher completing college in 2022, non engg, Went through a full Stack web dev course in MERN stack from a popular coding bootcamp. Now have around 6 months experience as a freelancer in product based startups. Currently earning around 35-40k per month remotely with actively looking for Full Time opportunities with atleast 5-6LPA. Looking at current market conditions it's becoming very difficult to get it. 

I did get few offers all around 3.5LPA. Last year my peers were getting 6-7LPA easily with my skills and background as fresher.

Any suggestions from your side. Also if anyone hiring with my skill sets please let me know.

1.Just graduated from BBA finance in April  2024 and I am unable to find a job in the finance sector and generally want to post like a financial analyst , I want to go into the investment banking sector.Any tips. 
2.I also am preparing for an MBA but I want to do a job for 2 years before perceiving my MBA, I am living in Kalyan and unable to find a job for a financial analyst post as a fresher can anybody give me some tips or referral 
3. My family is also telling me to prepare for the banking exam as I am not unable to get a job
4. My plan was to do a job for 2 years and then pursue an MBA in Norway can you please give me some tips for what I should do in this situation 
5. My education qualification is that I just completed my BBA (finance) with 8.35 Cgpa
6. I am also not interested in accounts job because my account is weak I was in scinence student and did not have much interest in accounts in college I recently gave an interview for a financial analyst position in Eclerx in Navi Mumbai but was unable to crack the aptitude test 

Can you guys give me some tips for what I should pursue and what action I should take now, can you guys give me a referral I am willing to work in any company or startup

2 Small companies : ( 6 months+ 2 years) : PM and Post Merger Integration.

Mistake I did by joining a small company with 12 lpa as I need money after my failed startup and COVID happened at the same time.

1. To check if it's viable
2. It's in B2C space and can be extended to B2B also ( but lots of competition in B2B but not B2C due to independent small firms)
3. I am from tech background so I can handle that but the idea need operations and few domain experts
4. I will have to leave my current job since I am working in a startup, all 6 days 10+ hours. How much run away should I be sure of, before jumping full time into it.

I’ve been wanting to build something on my own, I have built and hosted a few apps. But I couldn’t scale as much as I would have liked. I have contemplated on running a startup but I don’t have any trusted team member to support me.

Building software apps is my passion. I want take benefit of my passion to make money. Is freelancing a good option to do so?
