Depends on your age... Working in PST timing screws up your body. Although 7k usd is dope. If you are young then can join but take care of your health...

I am 26 right now and yes you can apply directly because jobs is not limited to one client it is first there will be trial period and that client wikl decide they will hire you or not if they will then minimum 4 and maximum 12 month you can work for that client then you can choose which client you want to work with.

Hi devs , I recently cleared turing tests and coding rounds and yesterday I had a non technical interview . The discussion went pretty good but the person who interviewed told that min yoe for turning dev is 3 years ...where as I had 2 years 4 months exp ...when the pay discussion came , he said he can only put $10 per hour as my yoe doesn't match with criteria of turing..which comes down to 1760$ per month. Currently my company pays me 14 lpa as base  .Is it viable to consider the turing job ?

Hey guys, I am in the interview process for a Data Scientist/Analyst position for Turing(dot)com (mostly for one of their clients). So the role is to work on validating LLM responses and some analysis on that to make the LLMs better.

I gave a machine DSA coding test and an interview a week ago (which consisted DSA questions and Data Analysis and Data Science questions), and the HR ghosted me for a week and then called today to set up another round for tomorrow.

I have seen some reviews which bash Turing and a lot & lottt of 100% positive reviews which look like they have been written by a LLM itself or someone on a gunpoint wrote it.

Does anyone here know if its worthwhile because Turing pays a lot but I would have to deny my other job offers for this.

PS: I am on my notice period at my current company

Recently I got an offer from Turing for LLM Data scientist role as an contractor and I will be working with one of the best company in USA but as Turing is type of middle man, so I am confused now whether the contract will end once the client company ends contract with Turing or I will be shifted to another company for work? I am confused and they also told that I will have 2 week of trial period but nothing as such is mentioned I'm the contract and I am still working at current company and yet to serve 15 days of notice period which they told I can serve while working part time after trial period, so has anyone have idea that is there any trial period? And does anyone else have got offer? Which has joining date of 30th September?? And what about the security?

Hello folks,
So I got an offer from a US based product company for remote role for Product designer.

This company just raised a seed funding.

They don’t have any office in India but their tech team and some of the people from leadership team (CxOs) are from India.

I’m confused whether to go with this offer or not.

Reason: 
1. Their interview process was too good to be true, it was very quick, no assignments given, they just saw the portfolio, ask some process related questions and then they agreed to give offer.

2. It’s a pure remote company with no plans to build office in India in coming future.

3. They have very small team, I’ll be working as 2nd designer only.

4. As per the current job market, I’m afraid about their future.

Hike that I’m getting is 50%

Recently, I interviewed with a US healthcare startup. I cleared and was offered 30lpa. 10% hike on my last CTC. I need to work in the Central Time zone. May even need to stretch since it's a startup. Good learning opportunity and ownership.

Even before this, I got an offer for 38LPA from another healthcare startup from Chennai. Apparently I couldn't take up that offer because of relocation. After that whatever calls I got didn't have the budget or wanted me to completely relocate to Pune, Mumbai or Gurgaon. I am looking for something in Bangalore hybrid/wfo/remote. Some companies left the hiring process in the middle saying org restructuring. I got some offers to be VP or Co-founder with sole equity.

The number of calls that I received last year comparatively are very high and that too from very good companies.

I am clueless right now. Since, I am broke and feel helpless. I am not sure what to do now. Sometimes I lose confidence and feel low on what I lack...

So, coming back to the question, how do you guys decide on offers?

I am currently working as a security analyst working for a company that provides pentesting as a service to its clients. I am getting paid 17lpa fixed salary. I earn 80-90k from freelancing every month pre taxes.

So should I switch or not. It's been 3 years I am in this company and I can't see much growth now. I will be doing the same work. 

The work is full remote and the culture of company s also nice and workload is fine. 

What should I do?

Should I look for a product based company but most of them call onsite. I want remote work only that is mandatory.

Hello guys, I am a recent graduate, but I have 2 years of internship experience and I have learned a lot in internship s I joined the startup early and tight now it is more than $1M ARR, but now problem is I they are not giving me full time but getting paid decent.

Now I have got an offer from Turing and the pay is very very good, more than 4 times of what I am getting now and even FAANG does not pay this much, the role is LLM data scientist but the problem is  work is very basic, I will be doing RLHF, that is I will be checking the response of LLM model and giving it feedback to improve it's accuracy, so it's more kind of data annotation type work.


So what you guys tell, should I take this opportunity? I think I will not learn more over here as coding might be minimal but parents and everyone is telling that no one's get this much at start of career so I should take this, but I am confused as I will not learn or gain that much skills, so what should I do??? Please helppp
