I am a graduate from LSR in economics and mathematics. Did a PGPM and did specialised courses in digital marketing, branding. Since it was difficult for my family to manage my expenses, I thought of starting a startup which helped me pay for my pocket expenses. I was always amongst the toppers in academics and had a good hold over numbers. Hence, I went to my Dean telling about my family situation for a TA rolef for quants. I got selected and that's how I managed my expenses.
When I started my corporate career, I started with marketing roles at early stage startups. Due to COVID, had to take a payment cut and shifted to startup consulting for 2 years doing marketing, strategy, partnership and project management. Given I had to take a cut, I got a Part time paid role with a World Bank and Govt of Bihar project.
Finally, landed in a reputable organisation like Startup India which comes under Ministry of Commerce and Industry but realised it is for politics, unskilling and listening to inexperienced government officials with barely any payment. Given marketing also handles events, PM level and CIM level events used to come in at short notices with every other weekend and late nights going to work. Since I am not into politics and I am looking for a job raise after taking almost the same salary since 5 years (I was at 67K in 2019 and I am at a little over a lakh now), I now want a better package and a place where I can learn and upskill rather than degrading my skills. After 6.5 years of working 14 hours plus almost half my corporate life, I want a more stable role. Desperately looking to get out for my mental health and physical health too. Any referrals or vacancies will be welcomed :)

They have big pockets but very cunning and power hungry people. They promote cut-throat ruthlessness. They are being smart now and backing out early so that later they can wash off their hands form being one of the primary players to have destroyed the startup ecosystem. The OG falcon had at least little bit of honesty, business savvyness and heart. From the time it became alpha wave and some terrible incompetent people took up important roles, it has been a downhill.  
  
 Someone from alpha -  be the whistleblower. But unlikely there would be anyone who has the guts to speak up. Their leaders have ensured to hire only weak yes-people.
