I had referred 3 people and they got joined ... Out of 3, for one person I had created EP number... When I check for referral bonus HR replied like your EP is duplicate. The person who got referral bonus he is from the same account where I am working. HR reveals this information to me. I had pinged that guy and asking about the person joined in TCS... HE DOESN'T KNOW HIM AT ALL... escalated to HR 2 LEVELS BUT NO USE. LOOKS LIKE ACCOUNT HEADS ARE INVOLVED along with HR...

Hi everyone, let me tell you a fact regarding TCS.

In 2022 I was part of a technical interview panel and select a candidate. As it was a virtual session, HR was also present. Once I selected that guy HR discussed about the salary. You dont belive in same technology having less than 5 years of experience than me HR agreed to offer a package which is 30% more than my package. I understood the loyal value of my employment being there for more than 7 years. Its really demotivates me in terms of everything and now i hv decided to leave TCS and untill i am there in TCS wont take any interview atleast.

TCS organises an internal exam called "Wings 1" by which the new joiners can double up their salary. (They get extra incentives, it's added as a separate item in Salary Slip).

• No Fairness
• No transparency 
, just hope so that you get stuck in the loop.

So they organise this 3 times in a year so that they can cover the whole year. (Selling Hope of Getting Cleared Every Cycle).

> A few months back they changed rules as most of the people were on the verge of clearing it.
> There is no particular syllabus for most of the exams.
> If you are on the verge of clearing Required Tracks, you will potentially end up getting failed in one of them for sure.(you'll never know why !)
> There's no marking scheme.
> The exam centres are 50-60KMs away.
> You can't even see how many marks you scored.
> The Result comes after a month, that too is sometimes delayed.(This is the same TCS which organises JEE etc exams).
> If more people are clearing, they reshuffle marks (Happened in Earlier Cycle).
> Even after so many obstacles if you clear it: if your manager gives you C band it goes away...

they call themselves employee friendly 😂.

Most of the new joiners get stuck in this cycle & end up losing their precious time.

Someone should raise this issue. It should be in NEWS.

BlackHat Retention Tactics by TCS 👽

I joined TCS as a 10 year experienced professional in Railroad Domain.

I was hired for a railroad domain project and much to my surprise they had a big account in the same domain with people not having any experience in it.

They claimed projects faking profiles. I was put on a system integration testing review wherein already another person was working having no clue about it as he was from oil and gas domain.

I explained him understand the domain and completed the project. Second project was to work on Safety critical project for 1200 requirements. The team had 4 experienced people from other domain who resigned within a month and then all fresher's were put in.

The lead without any experience of the work we were doing gave an estimate of 3 months without even consulting me.

He was doing false reporting and claiming that 70% of the work was done to client.

Client was already unhappy with the quality of work and they even escalated and were not happy with the false reporting status.

The lead resigned and then I was asked to lead the team. I trained the people on the domain and even the basics of testing to the extent wherein I used to dictate even the test case description to fresher's in the team.

As it was completely python automation, I had to even tell the team how to separate code test wise and how to parameterize functions for common lines of code.

I reviewed everyone's artifacts before they checked in. I used to prepare them before client reviews how to explain the work to clients and answer client's queries in review calls.

I asked my manager that it is difficult to manage here with so many fresher's and asked them for atleast 1 or 2 more domain experienced people which was rejected saying testing can be done by anyone and that even h e can explain requirement to anyone. He did not even knew what work we were doing.

Everyday spent 3-4 hours on calls with teams helping them debug failures and complete their work.

Tcs is an organisation where boomers hire genzs and IMPOSE values which were created when boomers were freshers and of course the salaries are also from that era.

So yeah a friend of mine got his salary deducted by 12%.
He got a D band as he came from onsite two months ago and took a leave, after which he was in bench for 1 month.
Now while checking revised compensation he noticed that his salary got deducted by 12%.
Pushing him back 2 years of increment.

On the other hand I got 4.5% increment for pulling 12 hours days.

Well guys this is it. TCS started salary deduction.

TCS is one of the biggest IT companies in India, so I am assuming they pay their employees well. One of my acquaintances was really upset that he got only a 2% hike, which is really very low. Is this an exception, or is this how much hike they give in TCS?
