Tech folks, do you actually like working in tech?
do you like coding? do you enjoying keeping up with new things? do you like the idea of continuous learning (especially in the field)? aren’t you overwhelmed? if tech didn’t pay well, would you still be working in tech? - fellow brethren
I love coding but don't like these things which comes with corporate world. Like office politics, boot locking of managers to get promotion. Pip culture and what not

I've often noticed that when I'm purely coding out a solution, I'm up till 3-4 am just to crack it. This is me doing it on my own compulsion, with no relation to any stringent deadlines of my project(s). When I'm coding, I lose track of time and even though it gets frustrating when I'm not able to solve it, the satisfaction of the solve trumps it all up and makes it worth it.
Us bro Us the feeling you get when you finally solve something that has been bugging you out is so damn amazing :)
Mostly Yes, but sometimes I want to just smell roses so I procrastinate
> do you like coding?
yes
> do you enjoying keeping up with new things?
yes. unless you're talking about a new js framework every week. then no.
> do you like the idea of continuous learning (especially in the field)?
Yes. again not talking about js frameworks.
> aren’t you overwhelmed?
no
> if tech didn’t pay well, would you still be working in tech?
probably yeah.
Yes for all of the above except the last one, if tech didn't payed well either would have got into some other engineering stream or would have gone into photography/cinematography.
