This pain just doesn't fade away

Hey Everyone! I am an app dev working for a startup and it's been more than a year there hasn't been any proper projects nor there were any end to end projects that I could work on. But I am unable to decide whether to start studying for DSA and jump to another company as I always get anxiety that my company would provide me with a project and I won't be able to perform it well as I do not know more of data handling stuff and the pay is really worst, they also denied my appraisal for this year.

Currently working in a startup and contributing in data science projects. Learning is good but a lot of time goes down in meetings and discussions and I have to do late night work. Everyday starts to feel like the same and I am not able to get time for extra learning to enhance my knowledge and tech stack. Also thinking of company change but most of them need 3-4 years exp to the data science team. 😭

Hello guys, I did alot of DSA in my college time (Tier 3 college), I got the highest marks in my DSA sem exams in my class and my professor was impressed with me, I gave leetcode contests, learned DSA from YT and so on. I got placed in a decent company with a 7.5 LPA package (while my best friend, who hardly knew DSA got a SDET role in a startup with 40 LPA), now after 2 years my pacakge is 10 LPA, I want to switch to a better company with good pay, I restarted practising DSA again but everytime I get stuck in some question and not able to solve it, it feels like I am wasting my time. While in my job, I learned Angular, TypeScript and frontend dev (which interests me more than DSA, but I am too lazy to make my own side projects) what should I do? should I stick on to DSA even though sometimes I just feel like I am wasting my time solving some random question which doesn’t justify anything about me? or beat my laziness and make some side projects with the frontend skills that I have? any advice would help me. I've turned 27, roughly 3yoe earning 50k which is low but I'm upskilling. Currently due to layoffs, AI news and just a very unhealthy state of IT things are getting very depressing and I personally feel like I've already lost or missed in life. People are planning to get married around me everything is so sudden. People of grapevine, what advice would you want to give people like me who feel lost. Any general advice such as financial planning, lifestyle changes or just tech advice any advice which has helped you to live peacefully and comfortably would be greatly appreciated.

When i was in college i wanted to build my own company/product. Thought of many ideas and tried to build something. None of them worked and it affected my studies so I had to quit just to clear my exams. After college I took placements in a WITCH like company where I got put into data entry/operations job after clearing difficult coding interviews (kismat kharab?). Somehow learnt new technologies on the side and managed to switch to a development role at a lower salary in a startup. After 3 years Worked hard on DSA and (barely) managed to get a good offer with above average pay. But the company is not stable anymore and may layoff at any time. Right now struggling to learn enough DSA to crack any company. Now I am almost 30, i have no hobbies,no talents, no relationships just trying to have a stable career. I see people everywhere doing so many things at once. How do they manage to do this. They are working at FAANG and managing businesses at the same time, have a bunch of friends. What am I doing wrong?

I'm from tier 2-3 collage , got an internship in Chennai. P.s. i m from north india so huge culture gap and Language barrier. I was selected for the job role of data science engineer . but they have put me in SDE. I have a good dsa skills, with enough experience in development in web and Multiple projects in AI/ML . They haven't considered my profile before assigning me to a team, no sh*t i want to switch this company asap. and in some other city like bangalore.. or Gurgaon. But as far as I can see.. there are no responses from the company i m applying to which is understandable. It is kind of implied that i have to spend at least a year before getting another job. Is there anyone who can suggest some ways to get me any Interview?

I am a frontend developer, working in a service based company, still have 1.7 years of experience, I dont know how I fell into this situation, but I got ownership on the frontend of a very large enterprise app in our project and our client is a big banking American company. At first I was content that I was learning angular and making proper decisions to keep things smoothly, now it is eating up my life, and to say this is the First development project and first application I am working in my career. I conveyed that this thing is too much for me in the beginning itself but nobody listening and now all are behind my back on updates and its killing me from inside, what do i do in this situation? I am not able to switch due to long notice period and even the recession is at large. What do i do??

TLDR : I joined this company back in the end of 2021 and got trained for 3 months and got selected into a project but after 5 months the project got shelved due to billing issues from client side. Anyways after 2 months I got selected into another new project which is Good actually and I got in hands experience and upskilled myself there for almost 10 months then the project was successful and released from it. The worst thing happened is during this time it's my hike and appraisal time, i don't know why but my manager gave me a 3/5 rating even though I performed my tasks within time and in feedback he said your knowledge and skills are good. After 2 months I got moved to a support type project but the thing is I didn't got any work frequently 😞, even when I asked my manager to give me work he's giving only one incident per week and eventually worked for another development team for 2 months regarding a new object but it also got hold due to billing. And worked in that project till November last yr, from December I'm not getting any work or response from the manager. Finally in January I got an email that there is no scope for billing in this project and we are releasing you, so please look into any other project and we are forwarding your resume to others. Now, I am feeling sad because in the span of 2+ years i got work in hands for only 1 year and the remaining time got wasted and another thing is I don't have any project now and my next appraisal is in 5 months from now.

Hi folks, I am a fronted developer with 5+ years of experience in TCS. I am doing well in my previous project but that is complete then I joined another project where I am struggling to do a smaller job as well. I am not sure what's going to happen to me every time I am the only person who always points out even if I make that mistake or not. Even though nothing motivated me, day by day my performance was going down I am feeling tired from this same time I am thinking about leaving the project and searching for something new but they are not releasing me. Due to this I visit the doctor and he says you are in depression and suggest some pills. Nothing motivates me here. Can anyone suggest to me what I do now.
