Swiggy Money and 1500 cap were a huge deterrent for me. I'm happy with Amazon ICICI.

If you're spending over 15k monthly on swiggy, or 30k monthly on amazon/flipkart, there are other bigger problems

Ah okay. Personally, I make most purchases via Amazon for myself and family. So the 5% cash back adds up very quickly.

5% cashback on pretty much all online spends. And real money cashback not swiggy money. Monthly capping is 5k.

 Amazon pay ICICI - 5% LTF 
 Flipkart Axis -5% 590 per year 
 Axis ACE - 5% on utility through Gpay 590 per year - ecity bill of 3k means 150₹ off, 2% on all spends  
 Axis Airtel - 25% on Airtel recharges, 10% on swiggy -590 per year

Simple cashback cards:

1. Amazon ICICI credit card - 5% cash back on Amazon spends, credited into Amazon wallet, almost cash and can be used easily on Amazon - best if you are an Amazon loyalist. Best feature: no cap on cashbacks

2. SBI Cash Back card - 5% on all online spends and across platforms. Cashback gets adjusted against the next month bill - so no hassle at all, your bill is lower by x next month. Catch: credit limits are not very high and cash back in capped at Rs. 5k per month, so is useful for up to Rs. 1L per month

3. Swiggy HDFC card - 10% cashback on Swiggy capped at Rs. 1500 per month. 5% on other online spends on select categories capped at Rs. 1500 per month. Catch: CB goes as Swiggy money so can be used only on Swiggy, Rs. 1500 cap is too low.

My preference: Have all three cards and use Swiggy only on Swiggy and use Amazon on Amazon and SBI CB card on all other online spends. Although I'm wondering if I should kill the Amazon card and use the SBI CB card for all online spends.

Axis Airtel , cashback capping is 500 pm (statement credit not Swiggy money)spread accross Swiggy , Zomato and BigBasket . 
 Also gives 25% on Airtel and 10 % bill payment ( capped at 300 each)

I use swiggy a lot, so I was thinking of getting the HDFC swiggy cashback credit card. If there are any users here, please share review.

Also, it seems they just announced that the cashback will be directly adjusted in credit card statement, instead of getting it as swiggy money. This seems useful but I want to hear your opinion. 

Also, can we use the credit card on a different swiggy account and still get cashback?

After the Axis cc rules, came across the swiggy hdfc credit card. Looks relevant due to my consistent and high-ish usage on swiggy itself, amazon, ecomm apps etc, so it does feel like I would use it. I have a separate card for airport lounges.

I am planning to get a credit card that can be used with food ordering platforms for discount mainly swiggy and zomato, and shopping apps Amazon and myntra.

I'm not able to decide on a good credit card. Can anyone suggest one this to me?

1. Grocery (zepto, Flipkart)
2. Flights
3. Petrol
4. Occasionally e-commerce
5. Bookmyshow
6. International saas subscription
7. Rent (optional)

Yearly spend will be around 4.5-5 lakhs without rent.

*P.S - don't suggest Flipkart Axis credit card.

Does swiggy hdfc card is really value for money… or its just yet another bogus card

Main spends: 
Food from Swiggy (quite a lot)
Groceries from Instamart/Zepto 
One flight round trip per quarter to home 
Going out for food maybe once a week

They had promised cash backs on multiple online and offline channels but they aren't getting credited in the statement. 

Even a 1% legit cashback on spends would be a good enough reason to get a credit card (they claimed 5%). Getting no reward points either. Also, spending on Zomato is apparently not eligible for cash back either lol. 

Plus the dashboard and UI UX for managing card inside the swiggy app sucks even more. If you try to go back to previous screen it will simply exit and go back to swiggy app instead of previous screen unless you use the small back button in top left corner. Can't see or use some features without logging into net banking in a browser inside swiggy app. Very janky and unusable. Can't find any option to pre pay even in HDFC net banking app. 

Overall, not happy with the experience. Big promises, under delivered.

Please recommend a good credit card ( this will be my first one) which will cover one or more of the following requirements in this order.

1) cashback/discount on flight tickets(lounge access not a priority)
2) Zomato/swiggy discounts
3) Amazon/Flipkart discount cashbacks

I realise one card may not cover this. But please recommend the best possible one.

Swiggy HDFC CC Instamart cashback

When I use Swiggy for food/ dineout I see the “extra cashback” subtext pop up when I pay with CC but it’s NOT giving me that on Instamart (picture). Has anyone else faced this? Does it still credit the cashback? 

This is my first month with the card, so will have to wait for the statement in any case.
