Chinese companies / apps have not been allowed to operate in India, now with TikTok buying 75% in Tokopedia (not 75% of gojek), what do you think will be fate on Tokopedia's India offices?
Would Tiktok keep Tokopedia's India office keep it untouched

Expand Tokopedia's India office and get some of atiktok work also her
Or
Over medium term close India office as Indian government doesn't likes Chinese apps / companies.

I recently interviewed at Jar, and the team passed the vibe check. The folks seemed smart, hard working and growth driven. 

What are your opinions on the future prospects of the company, from what I have heard they are eye-ing for an IPO in the next 18-20 months and looking to get profitable by the end of this year. Any major tailwind in support or against them? Or any other opinion/experience with Jar would be appreciated.

Amidst global recession, specially for IT companies, Indegene is floating an initial public offering (IPO) in April 24! Thoughts on the subscription?

Based on the numbers given, their daily transacting users should be around ~400-500k.

10M app downloads or 2 cr users as per app store. Definitely shows a leaky bucket in retention but impressed that half million transact everyday.

Swiggy is planning to go public soon and has offered to exercise our ESOPs at a certain valuation. This is not a buyback, so we will have to pay taxes on the exercised shares. Is it worth exercising now or should I wait for the IPO? I will only gain from this if the IPO price is higher than the exercise price, otherwise I will end up paying more tax. Did Zomato have a similar offer before its IPO? If so, what was the best option for its employees?

was looking at the financials of Zomato.
It's profit roce etc has been negative consistently still the stock price has been increasing throughout the last year.
Have recently started fundamental analysis of stocks and so just Trying to make some sense of it.
Can anyone explain in such a scenario what other factors should we look into ??
I see there's about 50%+ holdings in it by FII. What do they look for before investing heavily in such a company ??

Any tea on company? Investable or not during IPO? Their product is obviously much better than others but not sure how their product portfolio will pan out. On top of that they are not even EBITA positive and still going public.
