It's crazy how this native-non native issue persists immensely in Bangalore. No other developed city like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune has this. Bangalore is going down big time with so much rising hate in the city.

Of course, the thought of it also reeks of privilege and the fact that I'm able to choose whether or not I should stay in the country is also reflective of that. I'm aware of the fact that things wouldn't be as rosy abroad as people paint it to be, you have to leave a lot of comforts etc. Today is independence day. And I'm so conflicted. I'm generally a very patriotic person. I have always loved my country. It's hard to like it these days.
