Transition from Customer Success to PM

I have 10+ YOE in Customer Success and I am looking to transition into product management.

Has anyone here made this switch? What should be the steps to begin this transition? How can I get infront of PM hiring managers? What can I expect from a he transition (in terms of role and comp)?

I’ve checked, transition to product within the current org is not a possibility.

Try and break into PM roles at CX firms like sprinklr, frameworks (lots of startups in this space). Expect entry-mid level PM pay, could be higher if you manage to bag a role in a company that is building in the same space as your workex. As a general trend - you don't get pay hikes when you make horizontal moves unless you're early into your career and not at very high pay (especially after reaching mid level in your current role). The higher the work ex the more the opportunity cost to switch; think what would you want to do in 10 years from now.
