This seems extremely high for a country like India.

Insane Derivatives to Cash Volume Ratio

- Overall, Indian eComm is now $120Bn in size 
- Continues to be Amazon's fastest growing foreign market going into the closing of this year. 
- FY23 was an impact of Covid baked in growth. 
- Amazon would be quite okay with losing just $900Mn annually for the opportunity this presents

Zomato delivered another great set of results. Now they are adding 250Cr cash every quarter.
The company hit two benchmarks this quarter according to my calculations, 50,000 Cr worth of orders (4x Q3) and 100 Cr orders (4x Q3), and these are growing 25-30% year on year.
Why is this interesting? As some of you might know, they have started adding platform fees to the orders. Even one more rupee of platform fee will add 100 Cr to EBITDA. So, if they increase fees from 5 to 10, that's 500 Cr more EBITDA every year.
 
Now, If you look at this quarter's results vs last quarter's results, they have added ~3600 Cr of order value, and made 380 Cr of EBITDA (this does not include Events). Which means they are making 10% as EBITDA. In next 3 years, if Zomato doubles their order value to 1,00,000 Cr, and even make 8% EBITDA, this could mean 8000 Cr EBITDA (almost 1 billion dollars). What markets will give as multiple on this, is guess work. Could be 25-40x (Don't hold me on this). Hence the stock looks undervalued from a 3 year lens

Just how do you scale? Do you use AWS auto-scaler for that?

How do you solve for peak concurrency? >10,000 users at one point?

Seems like you are early in your DevOps/BE journey. The way you do it is:

1. Build performant APIs. <300ms is good and <100ms is great.
2. Cache all db calls wherever you can.
3. Cache all recurring calls to internal objects.
4. Profile your code and reduce time complexity.
5. Spread out API calls across several workers by mutithreading.
6. Use a load balancer and dynamically allocate more or less servers to it basis CPU util or Requests per second.

Zomato dropped a new feature showing order counter for the day.
For users it might be a number telling what is their order count based on time when they place the order.  Although it Does not add much of user value, just a number. Useful for Deepinder maybe to track how Zomato is performing but not much on user side,after sometime users might not pay attention to this number


But going down the line, if this metrics gets connected with some cashback value based on certain constraints like 1st 10k orders , certain orders count every day etc. Then this can be a pushing factor for more orders for Zomato by building competition around this order counter

These roles are often found in Big4, WITCH, large MNCs, and marketing/advertising sectors, representing a standard job that offers a decent income and work-life balance, though the level of fulfilment can be debated. 

Typically, those in this category have moderate personal ambitions or high ambition with a low risk appetite. 

𝟯. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝟯𝟬%:

This is inclusive of folks who are either:
        A. Work on the cutting edge in their respective fields.
        B. Run enterprises.
        C. Work in well run companies and took exceptional risk

Almost exclusively they work/studied in STEM related fields and coupled it with smart risk taking. It also consists of folks who thrive in ambiguity and have the intellectual horsepower to drive outcomes in uncertain environments.

I posit that our positioning within this tier-list determines our outlook towards life and work.
