What are your thoughts about quantum computing?

Quantum computing can vastly improve encryption, process large data, do insane of calculations in considerably less time. What areas do you think we’ll be seeing startup’s built in next 10 years in this domain?

I would also like to know about this and discuss.

My insights; Currently the technology is in development. Many companies are in the race to build full proof error prone quantum computers.

Applications are vast like quantum simulations(for drug developments), speeding up AI/ML training, and many other as you mentioned also. But I think mapping the solutions to some practical use cases will require thought and some ideas.

(Well I am no expert in the topic, just learning only, would surely love to explore possibilities and discuss!)
