What are your thoughts on digital menus?
I feel digital menus are getting boring, user scans the QR code and those web menus are slow and laggy. What do you think guys? And how was your experience with it ?

Most places have reverted to printed menus lol, no one likes digital menus
Ease is in hard copy menu as it is easy to view and scan, and thus select(user decision). Digital menu is viewed on our phone and many times have to zoom in and keep swiping in sequence Vs immediately go to any page in hard copy.
Digital is good for any updates or specials. Also easy filter and categorization if done like Online food order apps

Can you explain the zoom in part as the image or the whole menu?

Seems like you've had some shitty experience with digital menus
What if someone doesn't have a phone?
I walk away from a place if they don't have a hard copy menu. They were too cheap to even print menus, so I can't trust them.
Ask for a hard copy menu, if they deny, get up and walk away.

What if you got the same view in like hard copy menus in phone?
Still the same.
What if someone doesn't have a phone? What if the phone is dead?
I don't want to touch my phone. I don't want to force inconvenience on people I take out. I don't want to deal with mobile or network or website errors. I want people to decide together.
Printing and laminating a menu is cheaper. They are actively cutting rare low costs.
In most places with such menus, the food isn't that great either.
