What people fail to understand that China is a dictatorship govt. They don't care if someone doesn't like their decision. That's how a country grows fast. In our country, every bill in parliament comes with a free "Idiots blocking the roads". People blame Murthy for all sorts of things but they forget that he is one of the largest employment generation factory of our country. Whole world was on layoffs but Infy and TCS didn't touch one soul. Yes, they stopped hiring but at least they break someone's bread and income.

China does file more patents than the US. India is like not even 5% of US. So we get near 0 revenue from it Same is true for research, the amount of research output of Chinese universities is insane. Even if you subtract all the fake and plagiarised stuff their output is still huge. Just think about this line of thought - if Chinese economy did not slow down due to US tradewar, COVID and internal issues and if the US did not again start to dominate due to tech and AI... Athen we might as well have been in an era of Chinese domination.
