Keep a set of clothes that would make you look broke in office - Your watch (cheap one would do) - Formals plain off-white ( Opt for similar less flashy attire that blends with your coworkers) - Stick to basic colors Following all these principles would make you look less intimidating and would make you look more approachable. It’s not about brand or how expensive clothes and shoes someone is wearing. Just be well groomed and show up as sharp, presentable every day. My boss has dental problem and he stinks in the conference room, wears creased clothes. Trust me, he is not winning anyone.
