What is your take on the youtube shows where people openly share their salaries and discussing their finance?

I’ll go first. 1. What kind of investor are you? I am an opportunity investor, and I do buy good stocks whenever they are in reasonable valuations. Below are my monthly numbers. 2. Where’s the majority of your investment portfolio ? I have three RE investments and one of them has loan. And I’m planning to buy a property in Goa or HP. 3. What’s your monthly investment breakdown? 1.7L/ Month (approx) 60k - SIP (mutual funds) 60k - stocks (smallcase, us stocks using vested) 30k - as opportunity fund, this is transferred to a different bank account 10-20k - for experimental investments in crypto, nfts, and some trading. This is a new segment and I don’t have much experience in this and that’s why starting small here. 4. Anything else you want to share? I am learning to invest on a daily basis. Reading, videos and podcasts are my sources. Some of my tops picks are Whiteboard finance (Marko), My first Million and Smart Passive Income, finance with Saran, and Akshat Shrivastava.

Hi, One of my friends posted a job in our batch group but posted that 'this might be suitable for junior folks as salary is low'. Out of curiosity, I asked the salary in DM and the salary was more than what I was earning. So this puts me in a self degrading situation and hence I want to know the salary of fellow 2017 MBA grads. Just watched a video where the founder of an influencer marketing company said that they made 14.8 cr revenue in 1 year of starting out. WOW. Mind you, the man wasn't a veteran. A fresh clg grad. It's crazy how networking can mint you money

Why is it considered vulgar to talk about money in India? What implications does it have for corporate culture?

So, my company just started publishing salary ranges for all positions internally. It's been... interesting, to say the least. Some people are thrilled about the transparency, while others are pretty upset about what they've learned. It's definitely changed the vibe around the office. Has anyone else experienced this kind of wage transparency? I'm really curious how it affects team dynamics and motivation in the long run.

I might probably regret this especially since I’ve seen a lot of backlash on this platform for crypto. But honestly, this has been a rewarding stint. And note that I didn’t say “crypto” as I don’t always advice people to invest in crypto. AMA!

I travel a lot and meet many people while traveling. Foreigners as well as Indians. That's the best part. It helps to learn about foreign culture and also explore my mind while traveling places. But I have 1 thing in common with Indian girls nowadays. Most genz Male have saved in 6 to 8 digits at age 29-30 but most girls don't give a damn...they are really living yolo life and doing international trips, buying useless gadgets, mindless shopping bla bla... Basically, I want to ask- Is it just male responsibility to think about future plans and have enough cash flow to not get in the debt trap of home car etc or should women also think like this? PS - Above statement is for most of women and not all, so dunno take it personally. Comment your views in detail...am all ears!
