Try out business analyst roles. They don’t really care about background as long as the candidate is good with sql. 

Complex querying and case study questions should do the magic. Again pay won’t be more than 8-12lpa, but it’ll be a good starting point.

I am Stucked in a very weird situation, I am final year mechanical engineering student who was earlier preparing for product management/management consulting entry level roles but due to recession and layoffs and coming from a tier 3 college, I have to change my mind as first is non tech background and second tier 3 college tag , it was looking difficult for me to get an opportunity , I started preparing for gate but now after spending 6-7 months , I am realising, it never aligned with my goals , now what should I do 
I want to pivot to business analyst/entry product roles any how , I am graduating in June 2024 , neither I have much time left nor good companies are coming for placements , please help me out community

I have an engineering background but have been working as Ads specialist/campaign manager, since 3 years. It is an analytical role but doesn’t necessarily require my degree. Are there any roles where I can easily pivot to? My research says Business Analyst would a good role. I’m good with excel but will need to learn BI/Tableau. What do you guys think?

I have worked in fields such as Accounting, Audit, Taxation, Compliance and Reporting. 

And i for a fair fact also believe i have a thing for Data analytics. 
I get too excited when i have to work with large chunks of data on a spreadsheet to formulate results out of it.

I have a Liberal Arts background with my focus always in Social Impact. Recently, I did a management degree and pivoted into a generalist role - working at a social enterprise as part of the CEO's Office.

Unfortunately, I am not getting any analytical work or a single chance to play around with data. But I want to do so, and desperately. 

What kind of resources will you recommend me to get better with data analytics? 

I have already zeroed on doing an Advanced Excel Certificate (as revision), also keen on doing Six Sigma Certification from LinkedIn (just to better my basics and start thinking analytically).

I am a fresher working as a Data analyst in a growing startup. My current role doesn't include much of coding just python and SQL and sometimes little bit ML work. Currently handling 2 projects, and some of PM work to define some roadmaps.
I like engineering and coding in whole and want to know more. So do I switch to some SDE role or is there are more paths after Data analytics? I know ML, DL and NLP but not sure will it be a great choice to make career primarily in Data science.
So, I am little confused. Please give all good advices.
