I am a little confused about getting back to something technical (scared to learn tbh) or continuing and upskilling in Ads. But it looks like financial growth in Advertising is less. Hey everyone, So I have done my Bachelors in Engineering and I am thinking of switching to the role of Business Analyst. I was wondering if anyone could help me out wether it’d be a good idea or not also if I make the switch which skills or tools should I work on to make my profile look good or stand out. Other than that I am thinking of doing MBA so I am starting to prep for GMAT too so if you guys could give input on that would appreciate that. Thank you. I am Stucked in a very weird situation, I am final year mechanical engineering student who was earlier preparing for product management/management consulting entry level roles but due to recession and layoffs and coming from a tier 3 college, I have to change my mind as first is non tech background and second tier 3 college tag and I wasnt getting much response from recruiters too , it was looking difficult for me to get an opportunity so I started preparing for gate but now after spending 6-7 months , I am realising, it never aligned with my goals , now what should I do

After completing engineering I got a full time job opportunity in a logistic company as a business analyst. At the start everything was good but slowly I was pushed in the non technical department. Right now my majority of work consists of people's management. There is no technical aspect left in my job role and neither am I learning anything. After spending 02 years in the company I learned nothing. After realising my mistake I started learning SQL and then I've planned to learn Tableau as I have an inclination towards Data Analytics but due to my toxic job I can't focus on things. Also I can't leave the current job as I am having the responsibilities of my family.
Seeing my friends succeeding in their job really makes me anxious. 
Also I can't apply for jobs in service based companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture etc. as I'm having 4 years educational gap after class 10 due to financial issues. My father lost his job so I was  helping my father who was working in a local groceries shop during that time.

So now I have feed up with this BPO jobs and want to switch to IT. After a deep research I came to know Business Analyst is the best platform to switch to IT from BPO.

Hi All, I am a Java developer with >5 YOE, currently working in a low code tool.
I see a bunch of my colleagues and friends are pursuing M.B.A which made me feel lagging.
Could you please tell me 
1) if this degree is relevant to me in my current position / generally for a dev. I mean, if I stay as a dev for the next 5 years, will an additional degree in my resume do any good?
2) Seeing BAs in different companies / clients that I worked for, I liked what they do and I might be inclined to take that role in the far future. My understanding is that BAs are still in touch with tech tools or most of them I've seen are, and hence I like this. Are there other similar roles?
3) Will an M.B.A be a deciding factor in roles like engineering manager, engineering director, head of business systems etc?

How can M.B.A help me in my career?

What is the future scope of the PM job role...will it still be relevant after 10 years, Is going to IIMs spending close to 25 lakhs in this economy to get into a PM job role justified??
Context: I know many people will say you don't need IIM to break into PM, But considering I'm a 25 Male, from tier 3 college...currently working as a product designer with 8 lpa...so I think the only way to reach 25-30 lpa in hand by 28 is by joining IIMs
