Worst companies to work for
Considering there’s already too many reccos on great places to work, I am creating this thread to raise awareness - Please comment on organisations that you have worked at and don’t recco to someone who is looking to work there. Basis - Toxic culture , incompetent leadership , unstable finances or anything that makes it a bad place to work

I wouldn’t recommend Browserstack as they lack integrity and are entirely founder dependent. Their CEO is shortsighted and rude to his own DRs. Although they claim to be profitable their finances are questionable. There is also the thing about work life balance , this is zero as you are expected to work on a lot of process just to convince the leadership. Ultimately the idea will go thru only if the founders like it

Byjus. The culture was improving in Covid but has deteriorated rapidly after the new President, Tech joined from Oyo.
Now all good product and tech folks have left or have moved out and only below average people who can't get job anywhere are remaining
The new president bought lot of program managers rather engineering background. And this made many of good engineering folks to leave.
Basically Byju’s have more non-competent program managers with super inflated salary than engineers.

Following this thread
Muse Wearables. Horrible culture. Horrible CXOs. Horrible HR. People haven't got paid since November.
Ola work culture not so great. During covid they increased working days from 5 to 6 per week. Many more such considerate policies. I got an opportunity to work with them but decided not to join finally.
LambaTest : Ultra poor work life balance. You are expected to work till 2am even on weekends. Manager himself told me this after the interview.

Unacademy is definitely a place to avoid. Horrible culture, Bad treatment to employees, Dubious promises, CxOs of business teams are probably very impulsive and sporadic with no clear direction of what they are doing, talent hiring is very skewed in nature and most folks are ex-oyo with a showing growth at all cost mentality (without the right input) with no intent to understand the education business!
Cherry on top is CxO and top leadership flaunting the questionable practices during their stints at OYO and then slyly hinting at what they can do but aren't doing so at all there- so you can take a hint!

Same with Pepper Content. Most of the folks now are ex-Oyo (growth at all costs mentality) and the founders are a bunch of noobs focusing on just cheap work. The quality of freelancers that they work with is also not good. Their attrition rate is astronomical, so many people have left even before completing a year there
Please avoid BlackBuck (Zinka Logistics Solutions Private Limited) Horrible leadership. CEO has no idea what’s going on. It’s been ages that he has field visits and met team. Most of the Category Heads/Top Leadership is someone he knows from school/college/ friend circle. Massive hire & fire culture , the abusing culture runs top to bottom.
Head digital works/A23 rummy the ceo says that we will not train our employees as they will leave after training. Their strategy of retaining the employee is to make them incumbents so that no one hires them
Seeing a lot of comments about ex Oyo folks ruining the culture. I've heard some stories but can anyone elaborate on what these oyo folks propagate?
In my case it's Bajaj Finserv, Pune.
Having worked there for almost 4 years, I don't have any positive to speak on it except the salary part which is slightly competitive but comes at the risk of work culture and abuses on daily basis. This company looks good on papers per profitable but lacks moral integrity, sustainable work culture and is downside abusive. Lala/dhandha/baniya culture prevails in there. 6 days a week work culture will surely grows on you and one may develop BP issues and may break your confidence and your inner strength easily in a long run
Please pass it over this moronic evil of a company.

Discrimination such as?
A friend of mine interviewed recently. The interviewer brought some interns along who were going to join the company but weren't employees yet. Then he made fun of my friend for not being able to answer a question. After the interview he had the recruiter reach out and ask him to take a "course" and interview again in a few weeks. My friend told them to fu*k off.
