Rejoining back the company?

Hi All, I received an offer from a top-tier company similar to FAANG and accepted it. However, the working hours there are quite demanding, requiring a minimum of 10 hours per day. At my previous job, I had excellent work-life balance, with work hours aligned with Japan's schedule, allowing me to finish by 3 PM. Now, I'm working in US hours, which is encroaching on my personal time and impacting my mental well-being. Should I reconsider returning to my previous employer? Money isn't a significant factor (I received a 100% salary increase). The atmosphere at my former job was also much more relaxed.

Should I take up a job offer which offers me a peace of mind but not much of a hike or stay within the current organisation get the appraisal which is somewhat similar to the new offer. Early in my career the main reason I’m even considering the job offer is that the current organisation the work culture has gone to $#! . It’s basically working on favouritism, unrealistic targets and no work life balance at all.

Finally got an offer after 6 months but should I take it? I'm a 2022 grad. Got an FTE offer from WITCH after completing their internship. I waited for them to onboard me after graduating, but after a few months, they revoked my offer. So, I started applying everywhere, grinded Leetcode & did some open-source contributions. After 6000 applications and 100 interviews, I finally got an offer today. 100% hike as compared to my previous FTE offer. It's from a small firm in Delhi, I've to relocate since it's WFO. Had a chat with the founder. He was a very nice guy & pretty frank. Said I would be working on their own product, so it won't be like working in WITCH (Client Projects) or FAANG (Latest Tech). I would've to take ownership of modules. Told me I should think about the offer & take a concerned decision. Role is FE (React). So, should I take their offer? I have 2 other interviews lined up this week. Both of them would be around 120% hike if I cleared them.

Need some guidance. I am currently working in a product based MNC with a decent salary for 8 months. I am having 3 years of work experience. Recently I got an interview opportunity from a US based startup company for a SDE 2 remote role with 50% hike. What shall I do? Should I be continue working in the reputed MNC or try to switch to a startup with 50% hike and complete remote opportunity? Any help and guidance is much appreciated 🙂

I joined my current org right out of college and have been working here for 2+ years. I really like the company’s culture, openness while pay is also great as per my standards and needs. I recently interviewed for a startup casually and got an offer as well. Now I’m in a dilemma whether I should join the new org or stay although the pay jump looks pretty decent to me. P.S. Not a brag post but genuinely looking for answers as I’m really out of touch with the industry and given the current recession, can’t really make up my mind. Current TC.- 20 Offered - 26 + variable

I am SDE and I joined a company 2.5 months back. I don't like the work that I am doing and the company is far from being profitable+ a huge cash burn + management is not good. I interviewed with some other company and they have offered me a role. On paper it's an upgraded role but they are offering the exact salary as the current one + some esops. Would you accept the offer if you were in my place? Some general info: 1. Hate the work I am doing currently, the knowledge I get here can't be used in other companies. 2. Work is slow, not learning anything new 3. New company seems good from outside till now, have to validate with ex-employees 4. New company has Hybrid work, current is WFO 5. Have another offer which is paying a bit more than the 'new company' but don't want to join it, These guys are not matching the offer sadly

I got an offer from fractal, which is 2x my current salary, but I hear some bad things about long working hours/no work life balance and too much micromanagement, is it worth it to join or should I keep looking? I have experience in cutting edge data engineering using latest tech stacks and working in latest cloud environments and was a major contributor in my current project.
