What are your thoughts on digital menus?

I feel digital menus are getting boring, user scans the QR code and those web menus are slow and laggy. What do you think guys? And how was your experience with it ?

Ease is in hard copy menu as it is easy to view and scan, and thus select(user decision). Digital menu is viewed on our phone and many times have to zoom in and keep swiping in sequence Vs immediately go to any page in hard copy. Digital is good for any updates or specials. Also easy filter and categorization if done like Online food order apps

What if someone doesn't have a phone? I walk away from a place if they don't have a hard copy menu. They were too cheap to even print menus, so I can't trust them. Ask for a hard copy menu, if they deny, get up and walk away.

Still the same. What if someone doesn't have a phone? What if the phone is dead? I don't want to touch my phone. I don't want to force inconvenience on people I take out. I don't want to deal with mobile or network or website errors. I want people to decide together. Printing and laminating a menu is cheaper. They are actively cutting rare low costs. In most places with such menus, the food isn't that great either.

Zomato AR feature

As a Product person, I’m scratching my head looking at this feature and the use case for it. “You can see how your food looks like” -We already have images -Its not like the portion size is accurate. One can zoom in and out -Not like this is how much food will look like after the delivery guy revvs his bikes I get that AR makes sense for things that will stick with you for very long. But food? Its gone in 60 seconds! Why on earth would I want to see how my food looks like on my table? Just curious, no hate.

Amazonpay sucks(rant)

(maybe a clickbait to few people) No I don't work at Amazon I am just 1st year student but I don't know is it me or anyone else also feels this that the UI/ux basically the whole fucking frontend of Amazon is so glitchy and filthy whenever I search something the loading line appears on top like 2000s it feels like using an app made by 3rd year student for project. The design is soo poor never feels like premium app always feels like an app made for illeterates.Now let me tell you what happened there is one offer on dmrc(delhi metro card) that if I pay with Amazon pay I will get cashback even though I never use Amazon pay(gpay rocks) I used it today and after paying their fucking site was loading for more than 2 mins and was showing don't press back button but I pressed back and it showed transaction pending not able to connect to our servers(fucking one of the biggest companies of the world) at same moment I tried recharging using gpay it just took seconds and people will say maybe some traffic issue or server down and all but I tried this in evening also on different card then also failed. Gpay>>phonepe>>Airtel money==Paytm>>>>>>>>>>>amazonpay.

This is based on an analysis of 24 K reviews on iPhone & Android phones between Jan to Nov 2023 conducted by Clootrack. The results though look a lot skewed as Zomato outperforms Swiggy by 3-4X in every parameter, How do you look at these results, Do you agree with this analysis?
