Joining date querry

Do companies extend joining date ? I requested new company’s hr for extending my joining date as my current company manager isn’t releasing early . As a result need to get joining date extended by 2 weeks Hr informed he will need to get approvals and will get back next week Monday. I also shared him mail as well but didnt get any reply from his side. I am kind of scared if hr will extend joining date now q😥

I accepted an offer from Company A but explored other options and recently got a better offer from Company B. I’ve had second thoughts about Company A, and I’ve learned their salaries are often paid late.How should inform Company A that I won’t be joining them?

I got offer from Capgemini, joining date is 31st May. My last working day in current organization is also 31st May, I requested for next day 3rd June to Capgemini. It's hired for the HSBC client. I have put down my paper and now Capgemini Is saying I have to join to 31st May itself or the offer will be revoked. I tried to convince Cognizant my lwd was 3rd June so It preponed to 31st May still Capgemini HR is not picking up the phone and has no answer. What Should I do?

I have put down my papers. My LWD will be on 10th of Jan. I am trying to convince my manager that since I will not be part of my current team after this PI (Program Increment) which will end on 6th December, I can't really contribute that much to a new team in a month of time. All I am asking is to reduce the NP by 10 days since we have an annual shutdown from 25th dec. But the manager is not understanding. What should I do l?

I got offer with 50% hike from accenture and accepted but I did not resigned from tcs yet. Its been a month now Got mail from accenture HR on confirmation on joining date and asking to confirm on the LWD so they shall update DOJ accordingly I have YoE 3 and Ctc 8 What should I do?

Hi Folks, Recently I received offer for Infosys for associate consultant role. But my joining was scheduled in last week of October which was not feasible due to my 90 days notice period. I had discussion with the HR guy and he agreed to reschedule it to mid of December i.e. after my LWD at current company. And I put papers just after that. As my onboarding date was not changed on portal even after a week, I called HR yesterday and he said he is yet to change it. I am now worried about it as till now I dont have any other offer in hand. Do Infosys revoke offers in scenario where we ask for change in joining date? TIA..

Hi All, For example while searching a job you will get one offer and you accept also then in the 2 months notice period if you get another offer from another company how to talk to first company ? How you guys are tackling this situation?
