About yesterday...
This fella slept on my hand for almost an hour while we were searching for his mother. Would wake up and be fearful as soon as I put him down, but will fall asleep in seconds on my hand after sniffing it out. At one point, he was literally sleeping on my thumb, without a care in the world that something might happen to him.
Feels good to be trusted like this :)
Lucky you, I'm so jealous! How'd it end up here? Did you pet it? And did it find its mother eventually?
Now that you mentioned me being lucky, I thought back to the past few days and realised that I really got lucky with animals and birds being in such close vicinity to me!
- It ended up at my house because kids brought him in seeking to keep it as pet; they found him on the roadside.
- Yes! I even had him lick milk from my hand because the dropper we had was too big for him.
- Unfortunately no, it was late night with no animals in sight. Had to leave him in mandir in hopes that his mother will smell him, had to take this risk (mandir was the safest place near where he was first seen). Went in early morning and he was nowhere to be found. I could only pray that he got reunited with his mother. I can't handle the other possibility, so not even thinking about it.
U could have kept him as a pet
All humans want is a trusted pet and we are happy as fuck.
