Accenture vs EY GDS
Hi folks, I have got offer from both Accenture and EY GDS. I have accepted the offer from Accenture but haven't accepted the EY offer yet as they provided it last week. EY have just matched the Accenture offer that also with fixed compensation showing no exact ctc. I am a little confused if I should accept the offer from EY as well.
Note - 1. Both have the same location. 2. same compensation 3. Both low balled me
My tech stack is python having overall 6.2 yoe. I still have 2 months left for my notice period to end but confused on should I accept EY offer as well. Please suggest. Thanks 🙏
Hey man, i was interviewed but EY GDS couple of weeks ago. hr confirmed me the next day that i was selected and asked me to fill candidate sheet and asked for Aadhaar and some other docs.
For salary i told my expectations and she told she will check with the team and get back.
It was 2 weeks back and after that i have not heard from her and neither did she take my call.
But my application status keeps changing in the portal, first it was background investigation not it’s your application is with hiring team.
Should i still expect a word from them. Does it resemble your experience with interviewing to offer letter same?
In my case they provided a letter in a week after final round with hr. In your case if it is taking more time than it's better not to expect much from them if they come backit's good else keep giving interviews bro. That's what I can say for now.
How many rounds of interview were taken before hr call?
EY is not a tech company. You’ll be like and outcast and outsider, there are few people to appreciate your work because tech is outside their core competency at large. If you are tech resource, better go to a tech company. If you don’t believe me, ask tech people who work at EY or had worked at EY about their experience as compared to that in a tech company.
I have joined Accenture bro not EY as Accenture increased the compensation but EY was firm on previous compensation so left EY but thanks for your suggestion brother really appreciate it.
Accept EY offer
